taotrooper: It's a polar bear dancing the hula; your argument is invalid (Touya/Yukito are not pleased)

It's raining outside. Wait, it isn't.

One of [livejournal.com profile] arcadia_'s fics made me realize I know two fandoms that can literally be crossed over with everything. One is, of course, XXXHOLiC. Not only because everybody has wishes and can bargain at Yuuko's shop, we know that. I mean, you can crossover HOLiC with Disney movies, for crying out loud! (remembers the The Little Mermaid crossover fic)

The second fandom? The Sandman. I kid you not, this comic is perfect for any kind of crossover. Just toss the appropiate Endless in the mix and you're good to go! Because every fandom deals with dreams, death, desires, destiny, deliriums, despair and/or destruction!

Personally, I want to do X/Sandman crossovers. Hohoho.

By the way, worst TRC RP concept, ever. Gah! And now, since raws came out yesterday...

OH MY GOD SHE ATE THE EYE!

I love Watanuki, he's my hero <3 *hugs* But he has to stop behaving like a Sumeragi or he won't make it to the end of the series. At all.

I'm really hoping slashers won't blame it on Zashiki Warashi because Kimi lost his eye and start bashing her. I think the girl (if you can call her a girl, and all) was very brave for trying to help his crush/friend out, even if she knew she didn't stand a chance. Stupid? Yeah, a little. But Watanuki is even more of a baka than her in that department.

And besides, he'd have to face Spider Lady (or even a worse monster) sooner or later, if he wanted to get his eye back. And without the knowledge someone else would die if he didn't do anything, he'd probably end up being eaten. That's how I see it. The Spider wouldn't give him his eye, ever, even under other circumstances.

Meanwhile, I wonder how much did Yuuko see ahead for her to tell him "he had to realize..." Is it because of the Spider's words about his self-sacrifice vein? Is it the fact he was never going to recover his eye? Or is it the part about several living beings caring so much about him?

Or is it everything above? How much into the future can she see, anyway? Or did Clow see it and tell her a spoiler of her own series about his missing eye? It makes you wonder, and it fits the "we were right, he's a nice boy, Clow" infamous line.

More questions arising. Let's see if they're ever answered.

KUROGANE! *hugs even harder than Watanuki* OMGOMGOMG.

Have I told you I'm loving Nihon more than ever? Yeah. I'm in pain, I want to claw my eyeballs out, yet I'm enjoying it. Masochistic whore, I am. But I missed the twisted gore CLAMP had me used to. We missed it, my precioussssss.

I called it: Kuro-papa was eaten by the goblin (;____;) Like it was foreshadowed in volume 7, he witnessed the horror of people being eaten alive. And we see why Kuro can't let go of Ginryuu: it's not just the heritage, it's the weapon that helped him in his revenge and the last thing he "got" from his father.

I was psychologically prepared to Kuro-papa's finale and the blood-fest, so the cruelty of all didn't make me sad. I mean, yeah, the way he and his wife died was terrible, but I was expecting it. And it's better he got an honorable (uh, in the samurai sense; I doubt it's glamourous to be digested by that thing) death while fighting. Also, it's good (well, sort of) Kuro-mama was dead before that monster arrived (really, even if sharing the gastric acids tomb with her love is pretty, it's not nice to see such a gorgeous woman be disgraced like that and was protected by her son.

By the way? Berseck Kurogane is so creepy yet so cool.

God I love this world. It fills my angst quota and makes me love Kurogane so much.

And lesbians!! :DDDD Amaterasu (my ass, I'm calling her by her RGV name) Kendappa is the Mikado, how fitting!

I'm sad my Nihon OTP makes no sense now. Souma seems too old for Tomoyo now, and there's a fat chance she'd have something going on with her if Kendappa existed in that world. But! Kendappa/Souma is such an OTP, this is a great thing! Nice touch. So I'll fangirl anyway.

Although... is Tomoyo her daughter or not? I wish it weren't, because that lady is so gay in RGV I can't imagine her having sex with a man. At all. It could happen though, considering all those lesbian/bisexual CLAMP moms (Sonomi Daidouji and Saya Monou come to mind.) Arranged marriage, anyone? But really, what kind of man is Tomoyo-hime's dad, if Kendappa is the mom? It would be silly if her husband/consort/sperm donor was Ten-oh XD I hope not, because I love him very much and I don't want him to be cheated by his wife (cause she totally has an affair with Souma, yo) and be a canon Sue's father.

There's always the possibility Kendappa's sister ("Tsukiyomi". I love the mythology references, even with the gender fucking. I wonder if there's a Susanowo...) is Tomoyo's mom. I mean, considering Tomoyo's powers, the moon motif, and the fact it all points out that Tsukiyomi is the miko-like princess who sets wards and has prophetic dreams. AND she's the one holding the Moon Bell during Kuro-mama's exposition, which was held by Tomoyo on a color illustration! Also, that way, Kendappa can remain gay for Souma (and viceversa), as the heir to the throne could easily be Tomoyo and she doesn't have to breed.

Guess which option I like the most. Also, huh. That sounds like my "Sakura is my heir because I'll elope with my High Priest" theory.

Why do all my slashy OTPs in this series follow the sovereign/right hand pattern? Really, why?
