Happy birthday, [livejournal.com profile] inouekun!

I can't give you something special now because I'm stuck in faculty until tonight.

Last day of the anime projections, and there's still to come on the afternoon. I was reading one of my XXXHOLiC volumes during the break, and some minutes later the girl of the RG Veda volume takes it off her bag, and her group was checking it. I was saying on the comments the other day I wouldn't try to bribe her since it seems it's going to be reedited anyway (or Norma Editorial's seriously thinking about it) Good thing, because she's also a CLAMP fan -she loves X, at least- so it would've been useless. I know because I approached and ask her to let me see it (first time I touch a RGV volume on paper! ;_;) It was amusing since we talked a bit, and she told me the whole story, thing I didn't hear -I didn't attend on the first morning, when it happened. When they were going to "lottery" it (I don't know the term of English), she literally ran to the front desk and begged them to give it to her. And hey, it worked! So she's extremely happy with a new treasure ^_^ Good thing I didn't go, then. Besides, I wouldn't have the guts to jump like her, and would've been so envious/depressed afterwards.

But hey, I touched a RGV volume!

Norma, you'd better reedit it. And in normal format, so I can afford it.

PS: Dr. Slump is really funny and cute. I wonder if the manga licensed in USA and if there are scanlations.

PS2: I'm not winning anything in the lottery, not even Akira gashapons like last semester. Woe. I still have to put that one at eBay...

Dr. Slump is licensed in the US and a few volumes are out. Viz is releasing it under the Shonen Jump line. (http://www.viz.com/products/products.php?page=format&format_id=25bbdcd06c32d477f7fa1c3e4a91b032&brand_id=95b09698fda1f64af16708ffb859eab9&series_id=4998d2f199684fc377632a8bb0806c85&product_id=23eea97413403ffef773fec776e1b8a1) However, I hear there are a few edits for nudity in it. (Viz has a habit of editing nudity in the Shonen Jump line.... but it's not consistant. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't.)

Ah well. That's okay. Thanks ^^

¡¡Muchísimas gracias!! ^__^ Y no te preocupes, que no tienes que darme nada <3.

Hey, at least there is a girl who is a CLAMP fan, aside CCS. I know one girl at my school and fortunately, she's not stuck with CCS only. I think she was going yesterday to the projections.

Ya hablaremos de eso ¬.¬

Yeah, we talked a bit more with her, and she also follows other CLAMP mangas apart from X. Cool. Also, I think she might be one of the Naruto cosplayers on the fair. Because during the cosplay exposition, she commented she had three cosplays done: two Naruto and one FMA. I couldn't ask her if she went on cosplay on the fair because she had to leave early. Do you remember (I have the worst memory) if any of the cosplayers was a short, blonde girl?

Well, atleast you met a CLAMP fan ^.^ I know how you feel, I wouldn't have had the guts to either, then I would just feel depressed and think 'what if' for the rest of the day. I hope they rerelease it for you though, and I hope I can find it. I heard it wasn't finished or something like that, is that true? O__o

Not true. RG Veda is finished, with 10 volumes.

Yey im so happy! Now I won't be afraid to start it up (if i ever find the book/scans) I have the first volume of X; I want to find more, but im afraid of getting to 19 and not having anymore to read e_e!! I hope if I do read it, by the time I get to 19 it's being published again.

If you're living in North America -your userinfo didn't say-, I just checked and Tokyopop has released 3 volumes so far. Of course, there are torrents with scans, but they're practically dead. It's hard to find the manga online.
