I hate you, P.I.G, for keeping the fucking Chobits book and not the crossovers that are relevant to the plot! I hope Clow turns out to be important in Watanuki's fate in manga, and then you have to DIE because you messed up so MUCH. It's not like you'd care, since as long as you sell a lot of Mokona plushies you'll be happy, you motherfuckers.


Yes, I AM bitter. They'd better put the Gohou Drug references as well, or I WILL seriously wank.

The worst part, for me, are the fans who say the Tsubasa crossovers don't matter so much and include Larg's personality and Clow references in that. No, I don't give a damn about Tsubasa either, but when they take out the crossovers they are messing with HOLiC's plot itself and it drives me nuts that people don't see that. And the ones who complain about it end up looking like canon whores and/or batshit fangirls, too. With all my usual fangirling, I'm worried that it looks like I'm a rabid fangirl who's angry because her bishie of choice doesn't show up, when in fact what drives me crazy is that they're messing up the STORY.

Seriously. Even if Yuuko did randomly mention Clow at this point, it wouldn't make sense so soon and without all the previous references leading up to it. And to think that was such a brainkilling scene when it first came out... *weeps and hugs her manga copies more than ever*

Watanuki will need Larg. Yuuko said so. And there's no bloody way to make that happen without the Yuuko-Clow-Mokonas backstory.

This icon has never been more appropriate.

I have no idea, but I heard they kept all Chobits crossovers and that pissed me off at 2:00 am. Because really, without mentioning the TRC sliiiight mention, the Clow staff COULD've been kept.

While I look like a rabid fangirl who's angry because her bishie doesn't show up AND changed the canon AND messed with the cute mascot she liked.

Dude, I'm with you. I don't consider Larg and Soel's story a direct crossover, and Clow is not necessarily a TRC crossover character, either.

Moreover! The staff scene could've been left the SAME, just without Yuuko mentioning "I'll see her soon." And guess what, NO TSUBASA CROSSOVER. Or even, they could even cut Clow off (gasp!) and leave Watanuki cleaning the attic and finding the staff, with Yuuko (and OOC!Mokona, even) LOLing because it's all plastic. And that's it! The filler in the kitchen can be done any time!

That last paragraph is so true, and that makes me even more angry. They could leave out all of Tsubasa, they could even leave out the Clow backstory, and still keep the random crossovers.

And don't get me started on Mokona. If they want to make that OOC!hyper!mascot important later, it's going to look soooo paztede on yay. If they don't want to explain the backstory, fine, but at least let the poor little guy keep his brain.

Dude, while Madhouse played a lot with Kero and Spinel's personalities, they still had the essence of their manga counterparts. Take drunken!Suppi. As annoying as it could be for manga!Spinel if he finds out about it, anime!Spinel was still as intelligent, intuitive and cynical as the original.

Anime!Larg, on the other hand, is a xerox copy of anime!Soel and anime!MKR, only black. And since Bee Train developed Soel's annoying genki part more than its smart part, and whoever who did MKR made Mokona a "puu" machine -not sure if they kept the God state-, PIG went with that and copied exactly the crappy part and enhanced it.

But hey, see it this way. Since they didn't do backstory, none of the Mokona is Clow and Yuuko's lovechild creation. Therefore, they never taught them anything (except drinking sake). Heck, they can't even have a name.
Conclusions:
a) Mokona Modoki from Tsubasa Chronicle is not Soel
b) Mokona (pelada, sans Modoki) from XXXHOLiC anime, both versions, is not Larg
c) Clow and Yuuko never made or trained those disgusting, sugar-high, Stuish things
d) We can un-acknoledge them forever and disown them from the Clow family tree
