Question about kanji/character
This kanji/character, 天
It's pronounced "ten" on On reading. And it's on every fucking name with the syllables "ten" in RG Veda (say, Taishakuten, Bishamonten, Kisshouten, Koumokuten, Zouchouten, Kumaraten... and of course, Ten-oh.)
It seems the Spanish translations have -ten translated as "general" (except for Kisshouten, duh.) But I haven't found, be it in Japanese or Chinese, that ten -or tian- might mean general. Is that an artistic license?
In every source, I'm finding "ten" meaning heaven, sky, imperial and similar words. Which makes a lot of sense for, say, Ten-oh (name meaning king of heavens or imperial king, which fits his ending.) But not so much for the others, although I can see why for Kisshouten. Not so much for the warriors.)
Any thoughts? What about your country's translations?

And speaking of Kumara,
it's only the head of the clan that gets the world 天 at the end of their name
Isn't that -oh? Or are there more clans apart from the ones the Six Stars are from plus Kumaraten's? I just can't recall. However, that would explain why Kumara has the -ten and not the -oh on his name. I guess I'll have to reread his arc, because now I'm getting dead confused.

It's the guy who ran the underground city in which Ashura's sword was sealed. The one who slept with Shashi's sister, the blonde one.
