Today I bought:

- D.Gray-man #1 (yay)
- Matantei Loki #1 (oh yay)
- Fullmetal Alchemist #1 (YAY!!1!)

And that's all my wallet could afford. Bad month for manga buys. And my LJ account and Hiiragizawa.net are expiring.

The first ones were fine (and so Halloweenesque! :D), but FMA had some translation quirks and even a couple of mistakes (Hawkeye is not a Colonel!) that made it bittersweet. I admit I laughed on how they translated "niisan" to "hermanito", though XD I can't decide if it's ironic or lame.

And since I don't know if I'll be able to post tomorrow morning, I declare the rest of the post Halloween-themed!

ya, esa era como la gran pregunta. ta-chán, ta-chán. pero bueno, tampoco estoy tan descontenta con la traducción, pudo ser peor. tiene errores absurdos pero el tono de los personajes esta bien.

Verdad, verdad. En realidad yo estuve considerablemente satisfecha hasta cuando Al saludó a la "Coronel Hawkeye". Aparte de ese pelón, y que dejaron una frase tan ambigua que sonaba como que decían que Yoki era alquimista, me pareció que el resto estaba bien (cuáles más encontraste? yo lo leí en el bus y se me pudieron pasar por alto). Lo de Al diciendo "Buenas" me partió, pero creo que es porque es por un in-joke entre mis hermanos y yo.

Por tu icon asumo que Este te restregó dirigió Ouran hacia ti? XD

It's the Spanish edition. It was just licensed over here. I'm so excited about it as the edition is actually good with notes on mythology and I've wanted to finish this manga (and the Ragnarok continuation) for years.

The publisher only works in Spanish-speaking countries, though D: I don't think they have a French franchise. It's a shame.
