I'm a bit more resented by Sophie's characterization. We women can't continue being cranky towards our love interest after we realize our feelings! Or something!

Or I dunno, maybe I just like how realistic book!Howl/Sophie is, and how they're still the same after they hooked up and got married.

Disclaimer: I did like the movie. I still do if I forget it's HMC, because the book OWNED me. I'm glad I read it after watching the anime.
