Chilling at college

I forgot my watch today. I feel kinda naked, even though I can see the time on my cellphone.

Uh...

I get the feeling it'll be the THIRD world in a row that will bore the crap out of me. See how the more angst potential Fye gets, the more turned-off by the series I am.

So I'm one of the (what, three?) persons in the fandom who facepalmed at the mention of Celes. So yeah, flist, you look forward to Fye's past. Hell, half a year ago I also would, but this isn't the same guy for me. But as things are now? Wake me up when they move to a less fanservice-y world and/or someone dies, kthxbye. I haven't dreaded backstory so much in a CLAMP fandom since, uh, the other Ashura-oh.

RPG geeks and FF freaks, the real-time parody College Saga by Mark Leung are the shit. You can watch the four episodes here.

I'm getting into Matantei Loki again now that I can read the manga. I'm looking forward to read the whole series, and I hope the ending makes more sense than the anime's randomness. I'll make a long post later on.

I also read this weekend a very cheesy shoujo manwha called The Bride of the Water God. The art is gorgeous. The initial concept is something I dig because it screams mythology (girl is "sacrificed" by her town to a scary god, except she becomes her bride, and the god is pretty to look at), but then it gets messy because said god has two forms and the human girl thinks they're two different persons. And yet, pseudo-pedophilic possibilities aside (*coughs*CCSMaLoki*coughs*), I actually love the cliches so it's cool.

Gotta go.
