Two things I've learned this weekend about the way I program:
a) I work better under pressure for deadlines
b) I REALLY prefer Java over all the languages I know fluidly.

But anyway, some fandom comments now.

Holy shit, Arakawa gave us new canon background on alchemy, rentanjutsu, Amestris and Father's plans, and uh, Hohenheim, I guess (although all that, especially the last page, give us more questions than answers).

God, I love this manga. The intrigues and conspiracies blow my mind.

Changing the subject, do you know when you reread/rewatch a fandom and you realize you're loving certain characters or pairings more than before? That you never noticed or had forgotten how great someone is? Or quite the contrary, and you stopped caring about someone you thought better about previously? Because it happens to me all the time. Most of my obsessions tend to be things I overlooked when I first touched the canon.

Because I've been rereading Fruits Basket. And it's really weird because I started as a Kyou fangirl because his strong temper is a lot like mine and I'm quite into that kind of character, and the previous reread I found myself adoring Yuki, even being my favorite from the four lead characters. And now that we're at it, my favorite by far from the Mabudachi Trio ended up being the least I expected, which is Ayame. I don't know what's with that set of brothers, honestly. But when they started giving us Yuki's story and the terrible problems of self-esteem he's had and how he could move on, I respected him so much.

Oh, and my Minor Group I Fangirl (I have one in every fandom) has become the school council ♥ So much love for them! They're so batshit crazy. Manabe is just beyond random awesome XD Kimi might be an obnoxious bitch, but she's so amusing. Nao is also endearing in his bad humor; poor bastard, Earth logic can't be applied to those weirdos. And there's Machi. I find her so fascinating and dysfunctional. The more I reread the scenes with her, the more I love her and Yuki/Machi. Because I don't care what people might say, man. They're a perfect match; it makes so much sense!

But that needs a post of its own.
