What's with videogames and wolves?

You know, I'm a bad gamer and all.

Still, I want to buy Okami, when I have the money. That or convince my brothers into getting it. Because dude, it's so pretty and shiny and Japanese and Ghibliesque and... wow! And the gameplay looks like a Zelda, so I *know* I'll have fun with it without having to think a lot about stats and party alignments (because my videogames are all Zeldas, or RPGs, or puzzle type).

I do want to get a DS and the first Phoenix Wright, because you guys are so obnoxious about the awesomeness of that one, but Okami's so pretty... And I already have the console for that one... *clearly sucks because in her head a sun goddess on a wolf form > Edgeworth's sexyness*

I'll stop drooling over trailers and GET TO STUDY now.

Me siento con la misma duda, aunque he de sumar mi malsano interés por el FFXII (ya sea para criticarlo o alabarlo, quiero probarlo, y ninguno de mis amigos tiene intención de comprarlo). Okami también pinta muy bien, y aunque me haya de esperar a encontrarlo de segunda mano lo compraré. El Phoenix Wright lo veo difícil porque habría de comprarme una consola nueva y dudo que mi economía se pueda permitir 130 + 40 € que me costaría >___< Como me gustaría que los emuladores de NDS funcionaran tan bien como los de GBA...

Okami is awesome. Totally worth the money. The game really is as gorgeous as the trailers make it out to be and the game play is extremely fun.

Yo tengo bastantes Final Fantasy para entretenerme cuando tenga ganitas de RPG (tenemos el 7, el 8 y el 10 empezados desde hace más de un año o dos, mira que somos malos en eso). Creo que me spoilearé el XII porque mi personaje de RP en teoría lo ha jugado y tengo que ver de qué personaje se pondría un icon.

Sí, ése es mi problema con PW. Fijo que hasta mi cumpleaños o diciembre no me lo puedo pillar con todo y consola. Mis hermanos tienen una DS cada uno, sí, pero no vivo con ellos y no sé si les puedo vender la idea de que un juego de abogados es la leche.

No sé, una amiga me dijo que conoce a alguien que se lo estaba jugando en una emuladora O_o voy a averiguarlo cuando salga de exámenes y si sé algo de una que le vaya el PW te aviso ^^

This is so creepy. For months, I've been thinking about how I should get Okami. Then I completely forgot about it; and this morning it suddenly popped into my head again. And an hour later I check you journal and here it is! Freaky!
I think I'll go for it myself. Hopefully the price had dropped a little now (and I've checked ever game store in the area-expensive!)...

Sadly, it's out in Spain this month -European releases for videogames suck. So I don't think I can count on the price dropping any time soon... *is waiting for the Nintendo DS to drop prices a bit further, incidentally*

Forgot for some secs. I had a book on mythology. Actually, I still think Tsukiyomi is a weird choice since that one was a male GOD and not a female GODDESS.

Yo también tengo el VIII (que envidia me das con el VII), pero aún no he podido probarlo por problemas con la tarjeta de memoria (nunca creí que sería tan difícil conseguir una).

Sobre PW, existe una rom y un emulador de la NDS (el Ideas, creo que se llamaba), pero a mi nunca me ha funcionado, ya que se congela al principio. Y lo mismo con otros juegos.

Pero no sé, será que habrá un emulador que sí sirva sin colgarse tanto? Yo los que probé hace unos meses no me abrían nada, pero alguna forma debe existir si sacan tantos ROMs para la maldita plataforma! Con algún emulador los probarán, digo yo. Buffff.

Lo dicho, hay que investigar.

Yo debo el hosting de uno de mis dominios y unas compritas en subastas japonesas a una amiga, el regalo de cumpleaños a mis hermanos (son mellizos, mismo día), y este mes me sale manga nuevo que comprar. Ya con eso se me va Febrero y Marzo. Luego, tengo ganas de importar unas novelas en inglés. En eso me sale el hosting de otro dominio. También quiero comprar un manual de PHP para aprender este semestre que lo tengo flojo. En conclusión, que aunque ahorre tengo muchas prioridades antes de videojuegos Ô_o Y si en mi cumpleaños llego a tener dinero, me sale mejor fangirlear las novelas de Slayers y un juego shiny -que me duran unn poco más-, al DS con juego de los abogados guapos que se pasa más o menos rápido -y no puedo comprar secuela y quedaré como las otras españolas que están viciadas.

Y ésos fueron my thoughts on money. Los thoughts on yaoi irán para cuando juegue PW, que asumo que dará tela XD

Supongo que los sacan para poderlos meter en un cartucho y ejecutarlos en la consola, pero es cierto que debe haber algun emulador que funcione. Se tendrá que buscar más a fondo.

I was being rethorical. As in, what if CLAMP decides to push the mythology further, and Tomoyo and Kendappa could have a brother/sister with the title of Susano-wo.

Well yeah, if they had the opportunity to explore Nihon a bit more, maybe we would end up finding out they have a brother/sister. Since that country seems to be completely based on Japan's mythology ^^
