Things I've found myself doing
- Wanting to bloom leafless trees and feed birdies in the streets.
- Reading spoilers for the whole plot. OMG backstory. Also, time paradoxes confuse me so.
- Raiding Youtube when I can't play the game.
- Googling crap, even in Japanese.
- Looking at pretty Japanese art. Ushiwaka tends to be drawn in two ways: a bishounen with shiny eyes who looks like an Ouran rejectee, or like the unholy (but really nicer) lovechild of Xelloss Metallium and Gin Ichimaru. I feel sick by liking both styles, but even more sick by cooing at most Ushi/Ama art.
- Peeking at The Pit of Voles just to know in which category the badfic is, and what's shipped (woot, here's even two slash fics I'd read the Waka/Abe one)
- Plotbunning without even knowing the whole story. Like usual, mostly precanon to fill the blanks. Except I don't know exactly what the blanks are, or if what I'm coming up with will fit the canon. So I'll have to wait and sort my ideas.
- Planning XXXHOLiC crossovers, because really, three words: Eight. Purification. Sake.
- Making theories about the Moon Tribe, or Ammy's reactions to Waka's appearances in-game.
- Missing my Japanese mythology paperback book. There are so many references in the game I recall reading about...
- Wanting to buy the artbook and fanbooks.

Things I'm NOT doing but should ASAP
- My part for Friday's assignment
- Fanlisting applications (Ling has been open for applications for a month and I still haven't gotten around it) Incidentally, I'm so applying for Okami characters at TFL.org, duh
- Playing some more

In conclusion: this game ATE MY BRAIN AND SPIT IT BACK. I think about it all the frigging time.

Now, game comments. No, they're not spoilers.

- Sei-an city's sidequests are kinda hard, or I'm lacking the patience/skill. Which mortifies me a lot, because I really want to get all the stolen goods from the asshole thief (especially the Tao mask, because Abe promised me a juicy secret about Ushiwaka-taicho~~~~ *is shameless*)

- Himiko/Rao would've been hot. DAMMIT, NINETAILS. You sunk my yuri ship (no pun intended :P)

- When the characters were all "ooh go North!" I was having Fullmetal Alchemist flashbacks. It doesn't help it's filled with snow, and that the plot thickens. Still, nobody looks like they came out of Briggs. Thank God. (But there are bears, nuuuu!)

- Speaking of Kamui (LOLOLOL, I know it comes from Ainu, but seriously, I keep thinking about X) and the Ainu Oina, I'm still not impressed by them. I'm looking forward to the Poncles, but so far I'm kinda indifferent to the Oina people, even if masks and shapeshifting are pretty cool. Maybe it'll change, but so far... Which is odd, because I should obssess about them for that premise, but they're kinda too aloof to me so far.

Needs moar Waka. Wanna see Yamato Arc plz.

- Okikurmi. I understand why Oki has so many fans. He's cool and noble and brave and stubborn. And the mask leaves so much to your imagination. But well, he doesn't seem my kind of character. I wanted to give him a chance and know him better since his character design made me think of Renji for some irrational reason, and that turned me off big time, but there's no point. I get the feeling I'll be eternally indifferent to him.

And I don't like Oki/Ama at all. I personally see zero UST in the spoiler videos.
