Quantum Kyoshi warrior?

Let's do this experiment. Take a group of Kyoshi warriors, one of them being one of the main characters' love interest. Have them ambushed by the most vicious teen antagonist and her friends. Have them fight. Have some fangirl jokes. Then CUT THE SCENE.

The visible result is that the antagonist isn't only unharmed, but also stole the warriors' uniforms for an incognito mission.

Several episodes pass, and we have no news on the other girls. Cue the fandom discussing their fate for months, particularly of the only girl we know personally.

Is Suki alive? Is Suki dead? We won't get to know until the creators tell us so. Meanwhile, everyone takes one option and believes it (or doesn't want to, but still goes with it).

But right now, what's her state? Uncertain. As I see it, Suki is in this character limbo state that's not either life or death. That'll be defined when Mike and Bryan decide it's time to give us the input. But in the meantime, it could be safe to theorize she's both alive and dead for us.

Suki: Avatar's very own Schrodinger's cat.

I am really upset with the writers and the whole Suki situation. I am inclined to believe she is in prison and not dead because if she was killed off screen that would really suck. But either way I was hoping someone (especially Sokka)would show some concern for her fate. Didn't Sokka wonder how Azula got Suki's clothes?

Did Sokka even get to see Azula in the outfit? Not that it matters much, because if he didn't then his knowledge on that fact would depend on how much Katara told him afterwards, which is... uncertain, too. But yeah, you'd expect Sokka worrying considering he still missed Yue for a long time.

I really hope she's imprisoned, or believed dead by Ozai's Angels but being somewhere else. It's not only because I liked her and Suki/Sokka, but also because dying would turn Sokka into this fandom's Yoko with the kiss of death. And that always sucks.

Well I figure Sokka should have realized something was wrong. He was the one who first thought it was the Kyoshi Warriors. So when he found out it was the fire nation girls disguised I thought he would wonder hmm what is going on here.

As long as they deal with the Suki thing eventually I'll be fine with it but I really hope Suki isn't dead because that is just a horribly written death. And I am also a Sokka/Suki fan. Although now I think the writers are hinting at a Toph/Sokka relationship so maybe they do want to get rid of Suki. :(

Mmmm, I see. So man things happened on the season finale I wasn't sure if he got to see them or not. Perhaps he didn't give it too much thought ATM because they were in the middle of a crisis -they could've gotten the outfits elsewhere, or they could be custom-made replicas- and things happened too fast. Still, almost four episodes and he hasn't made a comment. Perhaps he did them offscreen during Aang's unconsciousness? What if his recent obsession with making plans and schedules is to avoid thinking about her?

I'm almost sure Suki's state (Schrodinger's jokes aside) will be shown in the plot. If it was a 'meaningless' death, Mike and Bryan would've mentioned or hinted it, like with Jet. I'm really hoping it's not to push the Toph/Sokka D: I sort of like the pairing, but I prefer them as snarky friends and just rather ship S/S.

Hmmm. Sokka knows they stole outfits from a bunch of Kyoshi warriors, but does he know they attacked Suki? As far as he knows there are just three girls in disguise, and there are many Kyoshi wariors out there so he doesn't have any reason to be sure that Suki was involved in the attack.

... on the other hand, one would think that thinking Suki might have been attacked is enough reason to worry.

I understand that they can't bring up Suki all the time, sure, but I don't want heartless!Sokka either. D: I hope it's like when he was missing Yue and didn't really show it (we only found out in the swamp and then when he sort of told Suki about it).

And given Sokka's attitude in the episode 3, we could assume that even if he knew, he'd try to focus on the mission and not think about her. He wouldn't want to worry the rest of the Gaang.
