Ah, especially if it's Amazon UK. I had this book on preorder for MONTHS, then the publisher moves back the date to unknown and you could see it on the main Amazon site, but I still had my order on .co.uk for the same date. Then I got this email like a month later of the "release", saying they couldn't get my order so they had to cancel it. I said fuck this shit, and just put an email notification on the .com product.
