Such a lovely place, such a lovely face
Help, guys. I kind of want to go back to icons and graphics, or at least do decent stuff for RP accounts, but since I had to reformat my desktop computer and reinstall I might as well revamp my resources. I haven't made an icon batch in like a year or something, so I'm afraid my textures/brushes may be too old or or something. Any recs, links to your own credit/resource pages, usernames/URLs of good resource makers?

Luna Lovegood. I'm not for using movie images, but I thought that icon was so lovely because that is SUCH a Luna facial expression. No, really, she looks dreamy and kooky and pondering about something faraway.
This was from a screencap of one of the Slayers endings, can't remember which one (I think it was the Try ED). Anyway, I like the colorful sky above the four guys. It's a fact that, Lina aside, I can't decide which one of the remaining three I love the most. There's a sense of going for adventures in that shot, wing in their hairs, sun rising to begin the journey. Almost poetic for such a cracky fandom.
In XXXHOLiC, Himawari imagines Watanuki as an angry kitty cat whenever he's pissed off. I think it's hilarious XD So this is my bitchslap icon, and ironically I save it more for ranting about CLAMP things I don't like. After all, I have an old!Watanuki mood.

That image is from Aria: it's Akari and President Aria. There are tons of pretty icons so I'm not sure why I picked that one. I think the building behind and the oh-so-blue sky sold it. The background art for that series is fucking amazing.
This might be one of my few icons with a character who's NOT from animanga or games. That's Ponder from the Discworld series, and his hat makes obvious he's a wizard. Ah, but he's a nerd as well, very scientific for someone with such a lazy profession. I thought the image was neat because he's wearing a T-shirt thing, and the text on it is teh lulz.
I wanted a Howl's Moving Castle icon to use, but the problem was that I wanted something novel-like, and the characterization in the anime movie was too cheesy for my favorite part of the H/S dynamics. I went with this screencap because she's all "WTF are you doing let me go" for a second, and it's almost book!Sophie.
Going to take a bath and study. I've neglected my readings for Cognitive Science because Mansión is so much fun.
ETA: Also, I might hate the guts of all of you who will be playing Brawl today, a little bit. I dislike living in Europe so much when these things happen.
