I've seen the spoilers (no, I don't know why I keep reading spoilers) and the shamisen case does sound interesting. It's good they gave him a reason beyond throwing a hissy fit over Yuuko's death, and that the aloofness in the first chapter was probably only him being really stoned that morning, but... I don't know, I still have some issues with CLAMP right now, and even if it got almost back to normal (and Himawari came back, where the hell is she?) it's still painful to think about it. I know it sounds stupid, but I'm so brokenhearted about this fandom and TRC's -it's not just the plot or Watanuki's change, it's... complicated- and I'd prefer to forget it until I've moved on. It's better to leave it be than me whining the next time something I don't like happens and harshing other people's squees.
