Actually, all I'd have to do is keep on not watching seasons 8 and 9 and erase Movie 2 from my memory... but so much damage was done there :( I find myself unable to forgive and I'm kind of stuck right now.

Haha, Picard is epic. Actually, most unknown words you'll encounter are random technobabble and I myself still don't understand it, so. They usually explain it with an easy metaphor afterwards, lol.
