I've seen this face before...
Sadly, I saw/read CCS before X/1999. So there are some characters in X that remind me of those in CCS, when it should be the contrary. Remember, X is older than Card Captor Sakura.
There are two characters in particular that have their physical resemblance to ones in X. I think Nekoi was easily influenced by Mokona's old style when she started. Good thing she developed her own, the one you can see in Gohou Drug and XXXHOLiC.
So here they are, the "clones" and the "originals", in a heavy-graphic post I'd like to call... nah, I'd better not call it anything.
Note: I do know they have little in common. It's more of a certain external resemblance in their expressions. I know, it's all CLAMP, it's supposed to look alike, but then again, the artists are different and the art is old.
Off we go.

Kakyou is a dreamgazer: he can see the future, most of it about the end of the world, and he's in a comma. Yue is a guardian: he must decide the new card master, and if the captor fails a disaster will fall to the world.
The similarities. They both have cat eyes. Their long hair (more long in Yue) gives them a quasi-feminine look. They're really pretty and pale, and have preference for white/silver clothes. Yue likes to sleep, Kakyou always sleeps. They have both lost the person they loved the most, and that made them cynical and oversensitive, although they're kind. A lot of feathers fly over Kakyou's dreamscapes; a lot of feathers form Yue's wings. They both are loners ans serious/angsty.
Now more pictures. Serious expressions:

Melancholic expressions:

I know, the pictures don't look alike. Fuji color illustrations suck.
Aoki is a Dragon of the Heaven: he has wind powers and works as an editor in a magazine. Fujitaka is half reincarnation of magician Clow: he receives magic powers later on the manga and works as an Archeology professor.
The similarities. They both have brown hair and brown eyes, need glasses, and wear suits most of the series' time. They are family men: Aoki has a wife and a daughter and had a nephew, Fujitaka is a widow and has a son and a daughter. They're both sickly in love with the wife, and care so much about their families it hurts. Fuji is an intelligent man, and I'm sure Aoki is as well. But they're both clueless and oblivious to evident things: how can he not notice Karen loves him? how can he not notice their children are doing weird things? Aoki's nephew made him promise he wouldn't cry over his death. Fujitaka's wife made him promise he wouldn't cry over her death.
The pictures. Surprised look:

Sheepish grin:

I was about to tell how much Subaru looks like Touya (or is it the opposite?) in some illustrations, but I'm too lazy and there are no big similarities among them.
