Vacations, they're ending! *sobs*
Anyway, I liked this week's
thefridayfive questions, so I gave it a try.
1. What is the first book you remember reading?
Erm, I don't know, maybe the fairytale about Karen's dancing red shoes. I remember, vaguely, a book about candies as well.
The first real book I can recall reading is The Little Prince by Saint-Exupery.
2. What is your favorite book?
There are more than one. Um... Prisoner of Azkaban. The Neverending Story. Howl's Moving Castle. Jonathan Livingston Seagull. And I know there are more, I just can't remember as they're back at Caracas, growing cobwebs.
3. Who is your favorite author?
Stephen King, followed by J.K. Rowling. I'm also fan of Michael Ende, J.R.R. Tolkien, Diana Wynne Jones, Agatha Christie, Arthur Conan Doyle, Anne Rice...
4. Pick up the nearest book (magazine or any available printed material will do). Turn to page 24 (or the closest to it). Go to the 7th line. What is it?
"Y ahora la cuestión: ¿Por qué ambos continúan existiendo?"
("And here's the question: Why do they both keep existing?")
It was from The Queen of the Damned.
5. If you could be any character in literature, who would you be?
O_OU
You see, I checked my favorite female characters mentally (dead... ignored... dead... has to do chores... don't want to live that life...), and as I don't actually want to be them, I skipped and went to males, do you mind?
I want to be Howl Jenkins *grins*
