[CLAMP] International chocolate

Genre: Comedy

Yuuko was armed with a silver spoon. Her arm drew a graceful curve, and the utensil in her hand landed on a tiny, brown island. The concave extreme went deeper, excavating, and it went up again. She tasted it, and sighed.
"Mmmmmm, delicious!"
The spoon repeated the trajectory.
"Glad you liked it." The chef smiled, happily, behind her. Clow had an apron over his ceremonial gown, with a small bunny design on its pocket. Yuuko had thought he looked silly on it, several minutes ago.
"Is this recipe actually new?" She asked, suspicious. "You didn't put anything on it, now, did you?
"I wouldn't poison your chocolate cake, my dear friend. It does have some sherry and liquid caramel, though."
"That's cool. You don't want to feel my wrath," she answered after swallowing.
"I think nobody does, in this business. Thank you for tasting it for me. Even though Cerberus is a good Guinea pig with my cooking experiments, I appreciate another human's opinion once in a while."
"Well, it's really tasty... like any food you prepare. I don't think I've ever met such a cook." She smirked, with cynicism.
"Why, thank you. But who knows, maybe he will be at my level, after all..."
"When you say 'he'...?"
"The boy, yes. I see he will be talented."
"However, when you say he'll have talent, are you still talking about cooking and cakes, or are you rambling in riddles again?"
"Ah, you'll never know," he grinned, and looked at her with shifty eyes.
"Not again with that look in your eyes! You're so annoying." She had finished the cake. "Can I have seconds?"
"The whole cake is yours. I'll bake another one at home. But leave some for Mokona."
"Yay!" She served herself. "Is this recipe English?"
"Swiss."
"Aww, Europe is so good with sweets... I have to travel some day, just to taste all those different treats. And I want to drink a lot of local liquors. It must be great, you know."
"Indeed, it does sound very nice. And you can do it; traveling through dimensions is your specialty, so going to Europe must be a child's game."
"You know, I've always wondered what kind of sweets you could find in different worlds. Some might be normal, some might be exotic... I know!" She clapped her hands together. "I'll make Soel send me some goodies!"
Clow glared. And she called him a selfish git.
"Well, I have to get some bonus profit from this huge favor I'm doing for you. And talking about profits, I have to pay you for the cake."
"It's a gift, Yuuko," he replied, somehow annoyed. He hated how she always wanted to return everything he did for her. With just saying thanks, he'd be grateful enough! She was too much into trades.
"I insist! Hmmm... Maybe I should share them some more. They're my treasure, you know, but it's a fair trade for Swiss chocolate cake. Hold on a minute."
She rushed to the kitchen, with the rest of the cake on her arms. After some seconds, she returned with her hands behind her back. He was relieved she wasn't holding something valuable.
"So... what are you going to give me?"
"One of my little kisses! Prepare your mouth for an exquisite experience."
"That sounds a bit dramatic, you know. For a 'little' kiss."
"Oh, alright, party-pooper. Here." She handed him a small object wrapped on silvery paper. It had a strange shape, almost conical. It didn't seem to irradiate any magic.
"What's this?"
"Your kiss, you creep. Don't give it to Cerberus, it's a real Harushiisu kiss imported from America. Those bonbons are so expensive; I'm saving them all for myself. Haven't you ever tasted them before?"
Of course, a Hershey's Kiss. He was such an idiot.
Note: According to hersheys.com, the Kisses were created on 1907, and the wrapping was introduced on 1921. It still fits the Mokona Modoki timeline... whichever it is.
