I realized I didn't have a non-fandom icon, so I made one. Yeah, I'm sad. And I know the text is an antithesis or something, since penguins can't fly.

1. The first character you first fell in love with: Kimihiro ♥ and Yuuko, of course. Fye was lust-at-first-sight.

3. The character everyone else loves that you don't: Sakura, again? XD I also don't get why some people likes Himawari that much, since she almost does nothing.
4. The character you love that everyone else hates: er... Shougo Asagi? He sucked in X The Movie, but his Tsubasa self rocks.

6. Which character did you think you would love but didn't: Kyle Londat; obvious reasons. And I admit it... Fei Wan Reed. I thought Monocle Guy was going to be cooler, but so far he's just a resentful jealous arse.

3. The character everyone else loves that you don't: Every Malfoy. Like Jo, I don't fucking get it.
4. The character you love that everyone else hates: Harry, again ^^UUU Neville needs more loving. Maybe Ginny and Hermione? I don't know if they're hated or not by slashers. I still like Dumbledore after OotP.
5. The character you used to love but don't any longer: Sorry, but Hagrid *dodges tomatoes* He doesn't seem to think things right.
6. Which character did you think you would love but didn't: Maybe Ron. I love him, but I thought I would more.

6. Which character did you think you would love but didn't: Hughes. Of course, it's more of his sudden death's fault than the character's. If he had more time, I'd love him more.

4. The character you love that everyone else hates: I don't know if they're hated, but both of Ichigo's male friends (I keep forgetting their names). They're so funny!

Word on the Tsubasa/HOLiC thing. I do like CCS!Sakura, but her Tsubasa self is just annoying.

As for HP, I simply don't get the Harry hating. Granted, he's not my *favourite* character. But if people can't stand the poor boy, why read 5 books with his name on it? o.O People are confusing...

Hagrid was one of the first HP characters I really loved, but his personality seems to be mysteriously disappearing. :/

And I don't get the Envy thing, either- at least so far. But I don't think there's a big chance that I'll join the Envy-loving...

Maybe it's the Princess-to-be-rescued issue, in Sakura's case. It's like in Mario Bros. videogames, where Princess Peach just sits and waits "in another castle" doing nothing. It's not that Sakura just stays there, but she doesn't particularly HELP a lot. She just doesn't kick ass. In CCS, it's quite the contrary: she did *everything* by herself. With help of her friends, yes, but she didn't depend on men so much.

But if people can't stand the poor boy, why read 5 books with his name on it?
I wonder about that, too. Are they reading just to find proofs for their stupid OTPs or squee when their favorite male character appears or what? Retarded...

About Hagrid, it was his actions on OotP what made me like him less. Dude, and then you wonder why people calls you dumb? You're hiding a fucking giant in your backyard! Get a reality check, man...

Envy won't get better. In anime canon he gets even more bratty as the series advances, and in manga canon he won't have any character developing. He's just there, being evil. Why, then? It's the bishounen factor. They like him because he's a sadistic fanservice-y villain they can turn into a slut in fanon. Whatever, I'm just not reading Envy/Ed.

Hagrid was a big, big disappointment in OotP. I've been defending him for four books, and now he brings his "little brother"? What's up with you, Jo?

And Envy didn't strike me as terribly good looking, but I know people like that kind of character design. It's just that my reaction to him wasn't "OMG he's yummy!". It was more like "OMG that's a GUY??? O_O"
