Memes 'R Us
Permanent account sale. US$150 for 100 icons, forever? Oh dear! Why am I so broke...
However, I don't really have the time to make questions up for you, sorry.
1. What was your favourite subject at school? And now?
English and Spanish & Literature. Actually, it was more of a love-hate thing going on. Most of the times I loved the subjects, but not the way the teachers taught them. With English, I never got any challenge with it and always had perfect scores. With Spanish, I really liked to read, but most of the times the books they made us read were boring.
I liked History of Art and Universal History when I saw them, but it was only for a year. Alas.
As for now... I'm only seeing two subjects right now, and I hate them both. I liked Declarative Programming last semester, I think.
2. If you could get Rowling to promise you that one thing will definitely happen in one of the next two books, what would it be?
Hmmmm...
That's a hard one.
Lupin (not) dying? I think we've had enough Marauder deaths.
Also, that we will have the famous "why Lily's eyes are important" and "why Dumbledore trusts Snape" explanations.
3. Are there any fictional characters that you loved as a kid (in any way you want to interpreted "loved") and still do?
Uh, the thing is, I didn't get to read a lot of books on my childhood. I guess I'm still fond of several Star Wars and Disney characters, though, but I can't seem in a concrete name right now.
Also, I liked (not in that sense) movie!Atreyu and Fujur, and now I liked them a lot more in the book.
4. What's your ideal holiday like?
I'm an oddball, so I like staying home and getting bored indoors. Beaches are too grainy, mountains/forests are too wild. I like taking walks or going to places with my family or friends (when I do have friends, mind you), but I don't like those epic trips to fixed summer places. I like pools, but the lack of cable TV and computers hits me, hard.
5. It's Saturday morning, you don't have any work or studying to do, and someone knocks at your door. When you go to open, it's... a very embarrased Kimi-kun! :D Once the squeeing/glomping/fainting is over, how do you spend the day?
Not showing him my domain with his name and the fanlisting for him and the chess piece, that's for sure! XD
Maybe staying home, watching some DVDs I'd rent. It's likely I'd torment him with the whole M. Night Shyamalan movie collection, some movies based on Stephen King's novels and Spirited Away XDDDD
And it's a canon thing he likes the Star Wars Original Trilogy, so we can watch it as well.
He is preparing the snacks, though >D
1. Where did you learn to speak/write in english ?
There's not an easy question. I've been learning since I'm three years old, from a lot of different places and sources. I had a lot of American toys and VHS movies, I guess that opened my mind. TV sitcoms and movies help my ears, books and Internet help my eyes. Fanfiction helps my hand?
I've taken a couple of courses, but I never get to finish them...
2. What's the big project you want to achieve before being 30 ?
None. I have no clue about what do I want to do. Except graduate.
3. What did you think of Georges traitement of the new trilogy (in less than 5 sentences ^^)
Anakin/Padme dynamics still won't convince me. Anakin is a wanker. Padme only rocked in I. Obi-Wan and Yoda were awesome. I loved to see the Jedi and Sith structure. Too much hate for Jar-Jar. Too bad Qui-Gon and Windu were killed like that. Already knew Palpatine was Sidius before the new trilogy. <3 @ R2 in III. And my space is done, isn't it?
4. You meet Clamp with a sheet of white paper. Which character will you ask them to draw for you on your paper ? (forget it's rude to assaul them in the middle of the street, just pretend it's ok to ask XD)
Oh dear... so many characters...
For Mokona, I'd ask for X!Subaru, as I miss X too much.
For Nekoi, older!Eriol. I want to see how would he look like, officially XD
What? It's different artists, so different art and different characters. There.
5. Something you want to get ride forever in the fandom of your choice ? (except xxxholic or even clamp for that matter because I think I already know the possible answers)
Um. From the fans' attitude, or from the canon? I'd like to get rid of ship wars at Harry Potter fandom, and the excess of Renji fanservice in Bleach canon.
1/ If you could have a chat with one famous dead person, who would it be, and what would you talk about ?
Oddly enough, I don't seem to worship any dead celebrity at the moment. Er. Um.
Sorry, I can't think of anyone. Einstein had interesting quotes, but I hate physics; Poe looks like an interesting, creepy guy, but I've just read three tales from him. Lennon seems like a cool guy, but I was never a Beatle fan. So...
I can't think of any dead person I want to meet.
2/ For what reasons could you find in yourself to kill, if ever ?
Eh, I will know it when I'm in that situation? O_o
3/ What's your favourite kind of music ?
None. I like several kinds of rock, but nothing in particular.
4/ What memory would you use to summon a Patronus
Would I be a really sad person if I told you I have no moment in my life I've been in absolute bliss?
5/ What physical feature about yourself do you like the most ? Which one do you hate the most ?
Hands. Feet.
1) Total number of books owned?
Here? Less than thirty, not counting mangas. *growls*
2) The last book I bought?
I think it was either Stephen King's "Storm of the Century" or Pratchett's "The Light Fantastic".
3) The last book I read?
Order of the Phoenix, in reread and in Spanish. God, the translation sucks ass.
4) 5 books that mean a lot to me?
In no particular order...
Antoine De Saint-Exupery's "The Little Prince"
Richard Bach's "Jonathan Livingston Seagull"
Michael Ende's "The Neverending Story"
J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter saga (so I'm cheating, what about it?)
Stephen King's "The Stand"
5) Tag 5 people and have them fill this out on their LJs:
I'm not tagging anyone, because
1. I don't believe in tag
2. I think almost every smart people in my flist has been tagged before or wouldn't care
There, do it if you want.
Things you enjoy, even when no one around you wants to go out and play. What lowers your stress/blood pressure/anxiety level? Make a list, post it to your journal... and then tag 5 friends and ask them to post it to theirs
-Reading. Either books, magazines, manga volumes, manga scanlations, fanfics, videogame manuals, anything.
-Photoshopping something. Either layouts or icons.
-Web coding. Although this might bring more stress, sometimes.
-Daydreaming.
-Watching anime.
-Playing Zelda or puzzle games. Right now, I'm high on Mahjongg solitaire.
Not tagging anyone.
However, I don't really have the time to make questions up for you, sorry.

*sigh* I know the feeling...
And word on the Star Wars thing! Anakin had so much potential, but I just can't separate him from the actor. :/

Yes, I do have icon bunnies as well. And they tend to chew me when I'm studying.
Is it too wrong that I was fangirling Yoda and R2-D2 -and a bit of Chewbacca, even if he wasn't doing anything special- in Episode III? Obi-Wan was awesome, but he already gets a lot of love for being Ewan his actor, so I felt drawn to minor OT characters.

Oooh, I remember I adored the Little Prince and Jonathan Livingston Seagull... some children books are just so good and so deep.
