Freedom!

I'm done with my exams. Yay!

[livejournal.com profile] quitelife00, I'm really sorry I forgot your birthday. I don't actually get how could've, considering the date and all. I knew there was something missing I had to do/check that day, and yet, couldn't nail it. I'm really sorry for that, would you forgive me?

Meanwhile, I just bought my birthday present with the money I received.

In all its blurry glory. It can reproduce mp3s, it can syntonize FM radio, it can record voice, and it can be used as an UBS flash key/drive/thing. It's just 512MB and the interface is sort of plain, but I thought I don't need a fancy, expensive player like an iPod or something. And comparing the price here in euros of an iPod and the price in US dollars, I think they'd rob me.

I read The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe yesterday. It was cool, it was the kind of story I would've adored as a child but I never got to read.

Well. Now off to do icons and write RP entries. And, if I get inspired, write fanfiction. I think I might be staying at my mother's this weekend, so in case you don't see me a lot around.

Oooh, I like Alphonse! And it's good to see that I'm not the only one who gives names to everything. ;)

The Narnia books are lovely, and they get better than the first one (my favourites are 3-5). They're the kind of stories where the main characters were kind of "blah", but I adored the minor ones.

Dude, I was naming my electronic appliances way before I read XXXHOLiC.

Isn't like that in any fantasy saga? The first books always pale in front of the other ones. I don't think I can afford them right now, but I'll get to them eventually.

I was naming stuff since I read The Neverending Story, but that shouldn't surprise anyone. :P

I bet the books are really expensive now, with a movie being made. *dreads* The good thing is that they don't end with cliffhangers or anything, so you don't get the need to read them all in a row...

11.95

Bueh, podría ser peor... Me gastaré mis buenos +30 en HBP entre gastos de envío y comisiones de contrareembolso.

I guess the days of 95 cents each with a box included free are over, then?

I know that this is off-topic (and I apologise for that), but I have a request. Remember the Ravenclaw challenge that was held a long time ago where I asked participants to create minibanners for the sidebar in this entry (http://www.livejournal.com/community/cleverraven/63162.html)? Would it be too much to ask if you could make one using the same format that says "Participation Points"? The person who made the current ones hasn't updated in nine weeks. I would be much obliged if you could. :)
