The infamous Sue meme

1. Go to the Elouai doll maker. (http://elouai.com/doll-makers/candybar-doll-maker.php)
2. Make an ordinary doll of yourself and save it.
3. Take that doll and, leaving a couple things (nose, eyebrows, whatever) the same, Mary Sue yourself. Make the most blatant Mary Sue you can conceive.
4. Post "Before" and "After" in your LJ. Bonus points if your Sue has a backstory of some sort.

Not blastant: just what I'd like to be, if I were a Sue.

This is me. Yeah. I normally dress like that, and it was HELL to get some normal, casual clothes in the Pit of Bratz that is the Candy Doll.

The Sue: I went with the RPG!magician-meets-a-Quncy look. I was really close to make myself in the oriental mystic sort-of-old-CLAMP-art wave, though.

I'll call her Zelinda. Yay stupid Sue name!

I love this meme... ^_^

Heh, and you know what else is hard to find on that site? Sueish brown hair. Apparently "brown" is not a Sue colour.

I disagree. I've found at least five Sueish (aka Pretty, Shiny, Stylish) brown hair styles in that site. But it's true that there is very few normal clothes there.
Cute dolls, indeed.

It's amazing how little sort-of-ladies'-T-shirts there are. You see a lot of skin-showing tops, all really trendy, but you see nothing with sleeves or waist-leveled. They all look like glorified bikinis, and I never use that kind of clothes.

When I finally found a top similar to those I use everyday in summer, because the weather here is @#$%, the stupid thing comes with a retarded handbag shaped like a monkey's head. Yeah, cute, but not me.

On the contrary; it was hard to get hair that looked like mine: all the brown hair there is so luxious and shiny and curly... Mine is ugly and lame and wavy and with no bangs in the front; it took me pages to get one similar.

I love your sad little face. And the change to Sue? Very amusing.

More than sad, it's bored/pissed off. I rarely smile, I keep a neutral face most of the time.

La capa en morado me ganó, te lo juro. Y si fuera una Sue, sería una especie de hechicera con poderes con ropa extraña, pero no ajustada y/o hortera. So...

Ack. There are no available clothes that I would ever wear. Maybe I should have picked a "male" frame...

I know, all the clothes there are so... ugh. I think, even just putting some of their 'regular' clothes on my doll, I'd still look like a Mary Sue.
