Report on the Comic Fair
I spent the morning with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
inouekun on the Comic Fair and had a pretty good time.
In the end, I didn't bought as much as I expected, as it was harder to get old mangas than last year, for some reason. I only bought one volume, X #12. I guess I'll have to fetch the rest in a comic store. Bah.
Apart from that one, I bought two objects of merchandising.
Isn't he cute? ^.^ They also had his brother, but there was something odd with him.
Oh, and we saw a huge Al plush, including the kitty and all. That one was too expensive, though. It was unusual to find non-Naruto plushies, I must say. There were also Inuyasha keyrings like this one, and there were some cushions with anime images.
Even though it's not a "Salón" (Con), there were three persons cosplaying Naruto characters XD It was really cool, especially the Itachi one, who had even his nails all polished. It was really amusing, considering this is a small city.
The artbook is the CardCaptor Sakura manga artbook #2. Why did I choose that one? Well:
a) Clow. The Clow pictures were in this one. Enough said.
b) Touya/Yukito pictures!
c) Eriol. Duh.
I find it funny that they (CLAMP) comment people used to tell them that Eriol's hat made him look like a mushroom XDDDDDD By the way? All the magnolia pictures are in this one, too.
All and all, I spent almost 25 euros in everything.
ETA: Gawd, I almost forgot! I got to touch an X Zero artbook! The person in charge of the stand let us touch it and flip it around. I think I drooled a lot. Too bad I had a stomachache when I saw the price... Yikes.

Yeah, I also thought that they had less manga than other years. Now that I think, I didn't see Paradise Kiss nor Bleach merchandising (which is very weird, since there was some FMA's, and the editorials are fighting for their rights in order to publish it). But that giant Al plushie was so cute, but it was so expensive too ;__;. But yours is cute (too bad he doesn't has the kitty), and the guy from the stand was very nice (I somewhat think he was also latin for the way he spoke, but maybe that's just me).
The Naruto!Cosplayers also killed me. It's just something like, we were walking in the stands or searching for some manga volumes, and then we saw those guys XDD. It also impressed me. I've also never see cosplayers in this Fair. The Itachi-guy was very cool, and OMG his toe nails!! XDD. But the thing I'm asking myself if the Kiba-girl was not getting hot with that coat... Bleh who cares, it was very cool if you ask.
God, the X Zero artbook. I read almost nothing of X, but man, that artbook was hot. The girl of the stand was very nice to let us see (porque mira que lo miramos durante un buen rato XD). But the price was just way too much. But hey, at the end you bought the CCS one that was very pretty too! ^_^

Yep, for instance, last year, I found a lot of old CLAMP manga; that's why I was hoping to fill my X collection some more. I even saw an old RG Veda volume, that's saying a lot.
It's weird, the lack of Bleach! And if you go to Alita, you see that almost every merchandising is Naruto. Why isn't Bleach "in", here in Coruña? Mind boggling. Same with the rest of the trendy anime/manga.
Yeah, the guy from the plushie stand was really nice. I thought he was Latin because I think (not sure, it's all fuzzy now) he was morenito, but maybe I confused people. And the girl who let us the X Artbook, what a shame! we were almost staining the book with drool and she didn't mind! o_o But what an artbook! Imagine how the second one will be like... [yeah, there'll be a second]
That poor girl must've been hot, yeah, but let's look at the bright side: when it rained a bit, she wasn't wet because of the hoodie XDDD And the dog plushie was the cutest thing ^o^
