Masochistic much, maybe

So I decided to switch to S2, when I stumbled to a sort of template style/layer thingie for The Boxer that looks good. Half Livejournal is using it, though. I decided I didn't care: maybe it'll go out of fashion soon. Of course, it's nothing extraordinaty, as I recycled the King Touya images from the layout I already had. But it costed me quite a bit to twist it so it looks nice.

Of course, what makes me sad is that this is a paid account style. I'm scared, as my debit card is evil and I won't be able to renew my paid account (because I decided to keep it even if I had to pay it, dammit) or even buy me extra userpics if things keep up.

Yesterday, I went downtown to buy CLAMP no Kiseki #4, since my Subaru bishop was getting lonely and he creeps the Watanuki bishop out. So he needed a Seishirou-san, and I provided. I walked a bit, and went to the Book Fair. It was interesting, but kind of dull when it comes to the kinds of books they were selling. In the end, I only got a Greek mythology book and a couple of old National Geographic magazines (with polar bears in the cover! <3)

I kept on walking, and discovered there was another fair. An International one; with stands selling supposed "typical" things from several countries. The one I liked the most was Egypt, because they had sarcophagi and pyramids and painted papyrus and bunch of Arabian things. It was cool.

I bought a cheap -yet overpriced- mood ring in a random jewelry stand.

This morning, my brothers came, as Danny was going to the toystore across the bridge in order to buy his shiny new Sony PSP. I got to see it a bit, and it rocks a lot. The price doesn't make it for me, though. He got himself in several debts with half the family in order to get it.

Is it me, or XXXHOLiC #5-5 is missing one page?

This week's Bleach chapter is promising, even if it's just for Urahara and Yoruichi showing up ^_^ I'm sad nobody I like is in the male fanservice image (I want Uryuu!). The female fanservice image is amusing: Rangiku's boobs are like 1/4 the image and her bikini top only covers like 1/8 of them. Yoruichi's sexiness was the one that pwned me, as usual. I'm weird, you see, and you have no idea how happy I am because the Kotetsu sisters made it! I just love Isane and Kiyone.

Si Kodansha le saca los derechos a Norma, yo también me quedo sin HOLiC. T_T (Porque dudo mucho que si le sacan los derechos a editoriales españolas se los vayan a dar a Ivrea Argentina... *sigh*)

Ya lo sé! Yo estoy francamente aterrada porque hace meses que no tenemos volúmenes nuevos de XXXHOLiC y Tsubasa porque Norma estaba comprando nuevos tomos (parece que es normal que las editoriales compren licencias de tomos uno por uno). Y se suponía que hasta Octubre no iban a sacarlos.

Vaya momento que elige Kodansha para hacerse la graciosita T____T Claro que Sueisha también está en eso, pero a mí no me afecta mucho por ahora. Igualmente, lo siento por la gente de mi flist que compra mangas de las Jump ;_;

Sobre lo de Kodansha.. hay tanta especulación suelta que andaremos como locos hasta que nos digan algo en claro ^^U
Una de las cosas que mas miedo me da de que quieran editar aquí es el como van hacerlo, porque como les salga mal puede quedar la cosa chunga.. ^^U

Sí, bueno. Ellos no pueden pretender que las cosas se vendan en España igual que en Japón. Ni de coña. Al fin de cuentas, aquí no es más que una afición minoritaria y no una parte de la pop culture como allá. La perspectiva de que traten de vender mangas y se retiren porque la cosa no es fiable asusta muchísimo. Y ni hablar si no consiguen buenos traductores y encontremos sendos textos en "Supanish" (como Engrish, pero en español). Así la gente compra incluso menos.
