CLAMP bishounen give their cars the darnest names

I was reading the latest scanlated Tsubasa chapitres, and now I came with a conclusion, thanks to the Piffle saga:

Give a CLAMPverse guy a dragonfly, ask him to name it, and you'll get something dorky. No, really, men are dorks. Let's see some examples:

* Oujirou's dragonfly is "Wizard". For anyone with a small level on Angelic Layer, self-explainatory like whoa. he was sooo waiting for his Hogwarts letter in some dimension when he was 11...
(young!Oujirou: "But I'm a wizard, brother!"
Icchan: "Of course you're not, dumbass.")

* Kyle's dragonfly is "Snow white", and I'm still not sure if I should be whether amused or creeped out because he goes on with the fairytale motif. Or, you know, maybe he really likes snow.

* Syaoran's dragonfly is "Mokona". This boy is not dumb, but he has no imagination at all. Not like CCS!Syaoran was so imaginative anyway. Oh well, it's better than the Duklyon boys, calling their dragonflies, well, "Dukylon #x".

* Shougo's dragonfly is "Yellow tiger" XD And we go on with the whole Hanshin Tigers motif.

* But the BEST dorky name for a dragonfly is Nokoru's: "Flying lady"! XDDDDD Too bad he didn't call it "Globefish", that would've been awesome.

Who wants to bet Sorata's dragonfly was called "Arashi"? XD

It's funny when you hear/read on commentaries things like "and the Mokona is near the finish line!"

And I'm all like, "but wasn't Mokona on Sakura's dragonfly? She already got to the goal... oh wait."

You didn't irritate me. It's just that I'm saying I've never gotten that huge rush over Syaoran (or Sakura) at TRC. They sort of bore me, personally. Each to their own, yadayada.

I don't mind people adding me, but I'm not good adding back. If you check my last 20 entries or so at my LJ, you'll see I'm having a flist cleanse, so unless I find you interesting or anything it's not likely I'll add you.

And, uh, I tend to mock S+S a lot. Maybe you're adding the wrong person, just in case you haven't noticed.

Whoa, whatever gave you the impression I supported that couple... o.O;; I'm so anti-S+S it's not even funny. <3 But as for them as two different people, I am in love with Syaoran-kun, but I'll tone it down because I know that can get annoying. ^^; And no matter about adding me back, I don't mind if you do or not.

Yeah TRC!Syaoran-kun has his... differences, but he's still a nice guy.

Sure, he's nice... he's a bit too obsessed even for an heroic figure for me.
