Oh, and the miracle of Halloween: Bee Train won't get his hands on XXXHOLiC!

Last night, my brothers and the kids from their neighborhood had a small Halloween thing going on. They trick-or-treated for three of four houses (the ones doing this) in costumes. We -mom, my stepfather and me- sort of dressed up too because we're dorks and they forced me to. My costume was an improvised thing consisting of a lot of black clothes, a thick orange jacket and a pumpkin mask. Mom was a witch, Frank a Frankenstein (*giggles* and it fits him, too), and the boys were a grim reaper and a Dracula.

Meanwhile, I wasn't free from fandom crack. The parents were taking some pictures at our porch (which was the coolest, hands down), and my mom was posing with a cigarette in her hand without noticing. And when she did, she went "heh, a vicious witch". I had to bite my tongue so I wouldn't die of laughter there, thinking about Yuuko.

Speaking of that, I was commenting [livejournal.com profile] ayasugi_san that last night, and we assumed Yuuko would love Halloween. And as one thing leads to another, we were wondering about Clow on Halloween. Too bad I forgot to save the chat so I'll have to recall it by memory. I first commented "he'd put the trick on trick-or-treat", silly me.

Then I commented about Kero eating all the candy at the entrance, so Clow would have to recur to The Sweet to give the children something. But what about Yue? I said it was the only time of the year he could go out and be unnoticed.

Hyatt: Oh, Clow and Kero would send him to do trick-or-treat and get them candy.
Me: *dead from laugh*

[door opens]
Yue: ...trick or treat ¬_¬
Woman 1: aren't you too old for this?
Yue: *sighs*

Hyatt: But he'd make a good impression on younger women for his looks.
Me: It would be something like...

[door opens]
Yue: ...trick or treat.
Woman 2: [luscious look] ooh hun, I have your candy right here! Come in and get it, I have it in my bedroom.
Yue: ...! [escapes]

Such a great, cracktacular thing. Too bad I'm currently writing something else, and too bad not even one of the [livejournal.com profile] 3measures themes fit this evil plotbunny.
