Heh, how cool. One of my submissions won first place at

fma_awards! I was hoping to get placed or the mod's choice, but not first! Nice :D

By the way, I went to the comic store today. I bought XXXHOLiC #5 and Fruits Basket #6 & 7. Tsubasa #8 was sold out. I didn't have enough money to get the two CLAMP no Kiseki magazines I have pending to buy. Still, #5 didn't seem to be there, so it's going to take a while to get my Suu. #6 was there, and it pained me a bit because it's the RG Veda one.

Sobre HOLiC, me pareció extraño que tradujeran a kudakitsune (el pipe fox) como "armiño mágico". Sonaba algo bobo, aunque supongo que lo hicieron para diferenciar entre los kitsune del oden y el kudakitsune, aunque es una tontería. Sobre todo porque no se parece en nada a un armiño en su forma grande. Y algunas veces, Kimi lo llamaba "el zorro ése" XD

Otra cosa extraña es la diferencia semántica que introdujeron entre Ame Warashi y Zashiki Warashi. Ésta se tradujo en su día como "espíritu de las casas", mientras que aquella la llamaron "espectro de la lluvia". Y además, en este volumen dejaron muy claro que espíritu =/= espectro, hasta el punto de que Ame Warashi se ofende muchísimo cuando la llaman espíritu. Espectro es un ente de categoría superior a un espíritu, dice Yuuko. Entonces, ¿Zashiki Warashi es demasiado inferior a Ame Warashi, o es un error de traducción? Más aún, ella al hablar de la hortensia dice que "es un espíritu de las flores. Pertenece a la familia de los espíritus que gobiernan la lluvia". Pero Ame Warashi es una de los que gobiernan la lluvia también. ¿Eso quiere decir que la hortensia, por más pura y valiosa que sea, es de categoría menor? ¿O fue desliz de las traductoras?

OK, enough. But it needed emphasis!

There are several Furuba couples I like. I support Kyoru, like a lot of people, and this one is the volume about her discovering his real form. However, this is not the only reason this volume is the First Furuba Romanticism one.

It's because they introduce Mine and, with her, the Ayame/Mine :)

It's odd. I thought for a long time that Ayame was really gay, and I confess I like the GureAya even if the subtext is just goofy teasing from their part (ToriAya I don't fancy so much: Hatori is too straight and serious for that IMO.) But AyaMine was my crack pairing. I always had the impression, from this first appearance, that Mine was in love with her boss. I really liked it when she goes with Ayame to the school when the parents' reunion. It was sweet, it was cracktacular. I thought she deserved him.

But really, I didn't expect Takaya to make my crack pairing canon, like she did a couple of months ago! It was a pleasant surprise, I'll tell you. And if before I thought she deserved him, now the OTP scale went to the roof with the flashback fluff of doom.

So. It's odd that, even if the Kyoru scene in this volume makes me all teary-eyed, I actually squeed when I realized it included the AyaMine. I'm just a dork. Or perhaps, because the Kyoru is on every volume while AyaMine just had three spotlights. And it's my crack pairing made true. Maybe that's why I like it better than all my other couples. I know I'll also be happy if ToriMayu happens in canon, you know [coughs and glares at Takaya]

And also! The weirdest thing is, I watched the anime episode #20 last night and looked for AyaMine fic at the Pit. And today I buy the volume XD Too wacky.

I need to make Furuba icons... and have a couple on. When my account gets paid.

OK maybe not at all. Actually I suppose I'm quite fond of AyamexHatori, in a purely on direction way. And I look fondly at the HaruxRin...

but it's like the characters in general are much more important to me than shipping, and only canonical stuff seem worth rooting for.

Right. That's true. Still, you ship a lot in HP and I don't ship a damned thing there and focus on characters. So we're even!

I wouldn't worry too much about the White Day thing... remember, you're working with crazy Seers! She can always pull a "They're going to have this holiday in a few decades and YOU KNOW THAT, you cheap bastard!" or something.

As for the Spanish translation thing, I guess it's a slip. It doesn't really make sense. O_O

aya/mine is my OTP!!! i died when takaya gave us chapter 110, i always thought that pair was all just in my head, i can never even find fics on them! let the aya/mine love flourish!

ahh, i got tsubasa 8, i liked it a lot, but i keep up with it in japan so i was really just rereading it. i wish it didnt take so long to publish the manga! ahh! oh and with fb too! 12 doesnt come out til december, and then i dont think 13 comes out til around march or april! x_____X *dies*

I like a lot of couples, but for some reason AyaMine grew on me. I loved chapter 110 so much, because I realized that apart from all the crack, it's not easy for them. Keeping it all to themselves must be awful, and Ayame must be concerned about Mine because of Akito and the way she abuses the Juunishi's love interests. So I'm not surprised they're not telling people. Now that I recall, when they went to the lake house and Ayame goes to cheer Hatori up because of Kana's wedding, he says he only prepares his special tea for three persons: Akito, Hatori and somebody else. He never tells his friends who's the other one, so I'm betting it's Mine (aww). So that means they've been dating even from before we get to know her.

I keep with Tsubasa and Furuba local releases in Spain, but I still spoil myself. And that's with all my fandoms...

Ohh *goes to look the tea thing up* i think it was in volume 4, wasn't it? I didn't think of that, it's so cute! You're right, I really like the couple, because they fit so well; Ayame can be his silly self, but he also has a sweet more serious side we only get a glimpse of when he tries to talk maturely with Yuki. I hope Ayame is, well, ya know - with the white feathers and such - next *doesnt want to spoil others* it seems the last two were sad when it happened, but i dunno, i think he might be a little, but as a different scenario i could also see him in my head calling up Shigure and Hattori about it, "The curse - yes THAT curse!" and I would love to see more Mine. Im thinking it's gonna be very climatic though for the next few chapters; not much fluff or crack at all ;-;.

I do that too with all of my fandoms. Wow, that sounds kind of sad to say, all of them. There are so many but I still try to keep updated. It's nice though, I have updates to look forward to several times a week ^.^ I should really make a calendar of them all. Speaking of updates, the next FMA comes out in 4 days, yey!

Good point you got there. Would he be sad? Maybe he would because Gure and Tori are still stuck with the curse. Let's see, the first person... well, we still don't know him so much to tell, but he never striked me as a happy person. The second one has an unrequisited love, and he can't make up with his family anyway -even without the curse, perhaps his dad wouldn't allow him? The third one might be sad because his beloved person is still a Juunishi and he might not be able to hug/protect love her. I think, if Aya gets cured from the curse, he'll be sad because it happened to him and not Hatori. Still, unlike the other three, he has a pretty girlfriend to cheer him up.

Your right, I hadn't really thought of it from that perspective. I thought maybe it was just a natural thing to be sad because they didn't have that bond anymore. Like when each of them met Akito, they cried. And I wonder what will happen to Akito? She is the 'dying God' after all. If everyone is released, I think she will die, she has been sick though, hasn't she? It's sorta like all of the Juunishi came for the feast, and now they're all leaving, and the God will die. How depressing to think about! I really don't know how it will end. There are certain things that are outcomes that could happen, but I dunno in what direction the story will go. I want to know about the origin of the curse, when was it started and why? I hope Shigure and Hattori are released soon too, well, all of them. I think as the pace is quickening we might get more than one release a chapter, but that's just my crazy thinking.

Oohh what raw do you need? I have the FB one. Still waiting for FMA (poor Roy and co.!) I never knew people put raws on torrents o__o I've learned something!

I don't mind Mabudashi trio yaoi so much, as long as they're in character (sadly, Hatori won't cooperate a lot so... Gure/Aya!) But I prefer AyaMine because it's crack AND canon! Even if Mine was a guy, I'd still love the couple.

Or for crack, how about this: an Ayame/Mine/Ritsu trio!

That's why Mine is perfect for Aya: she's as nuts and flamboyant as he is, or even more! I mean, gosh, in the anime they discuss over nurse uniform colors and socks style! They're so wacky. And maybe she's the only one who can put up with Ayame's big mouth and ego XD Also, it helps that she seems to be the one who understands his heart the most. He really trusts him enough to tell her private stuff (from his story with Yuki to... his curse, perhaps?)
