Holiday wishlist 2005

STEP ONE:
- Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

- If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (it'll be public) so that the holiday joy will spread.


STEP TWO:
- Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.


Let's see...

01.- Fanfic of the following couples: Clow/Yuuko, Ling/Lan Fan, Clow!Touya/Yukito (actually, I'll be happy with any couple not involving the main four TRC characters...), Kakyou/Hokuto, Ayame/Mine.
02.- Genfic of the following fandoms: CCS, FMA, XXXHOLiC, TRC, any other CLAMP series, Furuba.
03.- Something graphical. Icons, banners, cards, wallpapers... anything made with love and dedicated to me. Nobody makes anything cool for me.
04.- Fanart of the couples above, or any character you know I like.
05.- Review a fanfic of mine.
Now the material crap, yo. None of you can afford them, or I don't want you to afford them, so I'm not putting my address anyway unless you beg for it.
06.- Lost season 1 DVD pack T_T
07.- FMA volume 12, which I'll probably cave in and bid on eBay for it.
08.- Black Mokona plushie. Or that Soel & Larg book. (the book would be better)
09.- Books. More PTerry books. The rest of Earthsea. Eldest. The A Song of Ice and Fire books; I can't seem to find them outsite online stores.
10.- I don't know. Buying the CLAMP no Kiseki numbers I still haven't got.

I'm not sure. As much as I like the couple, I haven't read fanfiction of them. Basically, anything is going to be new to me. So I don't know, surprise me? I'd prefer something happy or at least non-angsty, as Kakyou had enough in canon, but I have no preference.

And it doesn't have to be romantic either. If you can't get into the couple, just write them just friendly talking or something gen like that. I'll be as satisfied as if it was senseless fluff.

The only multi-part fic I've ever finished was Kakyou/Hokuto, and Kakyou was actually happy sometimes in it, so I'll hope not to disappoint.~

Ayame/Mine! I was writing a fic about them mooonths ago, but stopped at page 2 I think due to lack of writing interest/karma this year.
And there aren't many fics on ff.net... at least not many decent ones -.-

but if I remember one or ever finish mine, I'll let you know ^^

I haven't dared reading Furuba fics at the Pit. I do recall searching for it, and finding like 10 max, between a sea of AyaTori. I want to write them someday, because it's the best way to let my theories about them flow.
