And I thought my career was fandom-free
I was skimming through an OS textbook, and I saw a familiar name in an advanced unit. There's this security protocol for networks called Kerberos. Yeah, sure, they named it because of mythology, but I still get the image of Kero-chan. Odd. The most amusing thing about it is the fact that Tomoyo Linux is going to use the Kerberos protocol XD
Ah, and I *almost* got that string array I was stuck at in the assignment. My only problem is it won't save the last filename correctly...
So, the Ginryuu Yuuko has is just a copy of the original Ginryuu? Aw shucks. There goes my theory down the toilet. Now the sword is not so special in a family love sense. I mean, it is, but it isn't the same as it can be replaceable. Also, that might even give the KuroMoyo shippers more wood to their fire. Meh. Boring. It's cute Kurogane wanted his father's sword to rest with his mother's body, though.
Haven't you noticed? Souma always always always (well, in the three lines she got in volume 1) calls Tomoyo "princess". She never calls her Tomoyo-hime or something like that. Actually, the only one mentioning her true name is Kurogane. Souma's reaction was in the lines of "call her princess!" or "you called the princess by her name!" So basically, nobody calls her Tomoyo, ever. Maybe several people don't even know Tsukiyomi-hime's name. I *think* Souma must know Tomoyo's name because she's too close toher sister the imperial family.
Ah, I didn't want the flashbacks to end so crappy... So let's go back to routine.

As much as I loved the Kurogane saga, I'm hoping for a nice Recourt episode *outside* the book now. With Eriol. If there's a world he'd be really at home in, this is it.
Completely agree about Ginryuu and Souma. As for KuroMoyo... meh. I see a lot of things that might work as hints, but I still don't think it's quite there. And it's not denial because I like Fye/Kuro: I don't think that one's canon, either. I just like the idea of "devotion to his princess" more than "devotion to his number one person". Meh, we'll see.

I'm losing the hope now. But really, if they're not putting an Eriol there, I'm WRITING it as soon as we get world development. Unless this world's only purpose is for flashback goodness, like the lake-with-Atlantis world. Then I KILL them.
Yeah, I'd prefer if Kurogane had platonic, loyalty feelings for Tomoyo. I mean, he might be a ninja, but he's a swordsman as well. Ninja in Nihon are a mix between samurai and ninja. And real samurai had their own rules about loyalty for their lord until the end, which is a part of Bushido. If there's something Bushido-like in that world, and I'm certain there is, then Kurogane is just doing the honorable thing by only wanting to protect his princess and nobody else. And also, she did a lot for him in the worst moment of his life, so he must be grateful towards her. Even if he's pissed with Tomoyo now since she kicked him out, you know.

Weird thing I noticed about the splash/chapter cover page - the oufit Fai's wearing is in the character guide, or at least a similiar one is. If anyone else has the character guide book, check out the concept art in the back. Fai's wearing a version of those robes in one of the illustrations. (Kendappa is in there too... FORSHADOWING!) I should proble dig my copy back out and look for further hints to future plots, clothing designs.
Also, sorry I haven't gotten a test beta to you yet. I didn't realize my sis/bro'n-law/baby were coming tonight for thanksgiving tommorrow so I've been a bit busy. I'll try to have a sample to you by friday afternoon before a party I'm going to.

Oh, haven't noticed. I'll have to check the scans as soon as I get home *is in the college labs*
Oh, don't push yourself. Thanksgiving week is hard for everyone in North America, so I understand. Take your time this time, really. I'm being consumed by homework anyway.
