I think I'm the only person who discusses canon and the characterizations of characters in an application for a rating community. But really, why the hell are they expecting Yue to show up in Tsubasa, as Priest Yukito's real identity? Someone is missing the whole "it's a fucking AU!" concept. I like TRC!Yukito because he ISN'T Yue, and yet he's so damn cool!

I don't know, I've seen a lot of people who don't like Yue either.

TRC!Yukito is even better than the original, IMHO. He has the pretty looks, the cool flowing outfits and he can do magic. What do the fangirls need Yue for now?

TRC Yukito IS Yue... sort of. It's painfully obvious in CCS that Yukito/Yue are basically split personalities of the same being. Stick 'em back together you get TRC Yukito. He can cast magic and be damn serious, and he can be all sweet and smiles.

So, yeah, having Yue there makes no sense. It'd be like suddenly having some part of your ego materializing and walking around while you're still whole.

I agree with you. TRC!Yukito is not a pure Yukito, but he still has a lot of him. Then of course, we'll never know whether he's so serious, responsible, and mystical because he has Yue traits, or his personality improved with his responsabilities, or he's just an alter person so he's not entirely the same. I mean, the last ones are their excuse for TRC!Syaoran being so ~~boring~~ different.

But he *doesn't* have a double personality in TRC! He's just a human. A special guy, but a human.

TRC! Syaoran is a great example of nature vs. nurture. CCS Syaoran was a spoiled little kid who felt he was entitled to Clow's legacy. At least, up till near the end then he started wising up. TRC!Syaoran is an orphen raised by Fujitaka and is several years older than he was in CCS. It makes sense that he'd act different.

I actually really didn't like CCS Syaoran, so I'm glad he's matured a bit.

CCS!Syaoran amused me. At least before he became the Love Interest(tm).

Now, TRC!Syaoran? Hate him with a passion. He's such a Gary Stu, especially in the anime.
