I downloaded Clef's character songs from MKR, because it's Nozomu Sasaki singing. What I learned:

a) Eriol could sing if he had gotten a character song.
b) He wouldn't sound like himself, though. Or like Clef, for that matter.
c) The MKR anime producers were dirty Clef/Umi shippers and should get their asses kicked for giving them subtext in character themes.
d) Clef and electric guitars? WTF.

There are several. Ten-oh, for instance. Karura-oh and Souma-oh, also.

Ashura. Uuuuuuuuugh. And Yasha. And Taishakuten. And Ashura-oh.

I doubt my favorite ones are hated.

I liked Kendappa at the beginning. Now I'm just "eh". She's too twisted.

I wouldn't say no to Kujaku *winks* But Ten-oh has such cute red hair! And the blushing! Cuuuuuuute.

...dude, nobody. They're all batshit. Physically speaking, I envy Souma's body.

Yasha. Can I kick him in the balls, too?

Kendappa/Souma. I like them tragic.

Ashura/Yasha and Taishakuten/Ashura-oh.

I love you for #3! And #8! And I think Ashura/Yasha is a twisted pairing even by CLAMP standards, with Kujaku saying he was " a good dad" and all that. Blergh. Makes me wonder if it comes from the original myth, because those things tend to be twisted like that...

I think in the real myth, ashuras are just some sort of devil-deities. I think this was all made up by CLAMP.
