Beware of the geek
I mentioned it in a comment in another journal, but... my laptop's name is Soel.
Just in case you don't get it, or if you're new around here, that's the real name of the white Mokona Modoki. I figured it was the best name for the laptop, considering it a) has several special techniques and b) is made for traveling.
Also, the desktop PC has been renamed to Larg. Because it stays home, of course. And the mouse shines in blue, and the case has details in navy blue.
Soel has a couple of partitions. Not counting the swap thing, and the one the Linux is installed in, and some tiny spaces the OS's left free, I mean.
C: unit is called Kurogane, and it's an NTFS. The XP OS stuff and the Windows software are installed there.
F: unit is called Fye, and it's an FAT32. That one can be used by both Windows and Linux, but I'll probably keep the made-to-work-in-Ubuntu-stuff files in there. Or just anything I want both OS to exchange.
Ah, the Ubuntu root@soel password is (who cares if I'm giving it out? it's not like you can touch my notebook anyway!) yuukoreed.
And today, I bought a mini-mouse for Soel, since the touchpad is a killer. It's red!
...
Okay, I'll go back to write that RP entry now.
PS: Laurus, Alanna, between me wasting my time by mounting the partition in the laptop, and the writer's block kicking in, I'm not going to be able to start the confrontation tonight. Sorry.
PS2: I installed something called XAMPP on Soel. It's a software pack that includes Apache, PHP and MySQL. That means I can play PHP/MySQL programmer now :DDDDif I get to learn it, I mean

Don't worry about the post, I'll be free in the afternoons during all this week.

I'll have the morning busy tomorrow, so I'll start it on the afternoon. I don't have classes on Thursday, so I might be able to work on big stuff this week.

Maybe like RPG portals? [/XXXHOLiC reference]I assume it's like the times Eriol sent items, but with people. In a "beam me up, Scotty" kind of way, but with magic. Like Harry Potter's books' Apparations. My Eriol's going to hate that simileno subject
