Yeah, that's the only comment I can give out from HOLiC's chapter, as the whole interesting part came at the last page. Ohkawa pulled an Arakawa. I don't want to make any theories on the picture yet. I'll wait for canon to provide the asnwer. It would be funny if they ARE related and fanbrats die because they're incest shippers without knowing.

I don't think they're related, but even if they were, it's not like that's going to stop the ship. Look at all the cousin (one-sided) pairings in CCS. I agree that the fandom reaction would be funny, though. Some people scream "incest!" at the tiniest thing... (No, I don't consider cousin-pairings incest.)

Besides, if Watanuki is revealed to have a Surprise Relative, I'm sure it won't be precisely Doumeki... ;P

I think those cries of "INCEST!" were exaggerated. They're just counting the chicks before they hatch, and the idea is stupid anyway. There's no way those two can be related, and that wouldn't stop CLAMP anyway, like you say.

I'm laughing at people who scream "INCEST!" at everything since the Black family tree came out. "OMG! Harry and Ginny might be cousins in the 3242th degree!!!" XD Seriously, people. Cousins is fine. Even first cousins, unless it's repeated over lots and lots of generations.
