Meanwhile, and since I'm awfully depressed by school chaos, a couple of geeky events going on during Databases classes.

1) Teacher is commenting on a query and, in the moment he stops the example, a cellphone starts ringing. And the ringtone was the Final Fantasy classic victory fanfarre! XDDDD Advent Children flashback ensues. Teacher was like, "Gee, that song is so old... use something more modern!"

Someone is familiar with the first FFs...

2) Teacher was explaining how Google works. For your reference, teacher is a House fanboy. Really. He has said he watches it before.

Teacher: So, let's say we make a search. Let's use the most popular search on Internet. "Sex."
Class: LOL.
Teacher: It works with inverted files. So, we get the list of documents which mention "sex." Now let's do a search with more than one keyword: "sex" and "Pamela Anderson."
Class: LMAO.
Teach: No, wait. Let's use "Carmen Elektra" because that's the one House likes.
Some of class: LMAO.

They broadcasted that episode last night on national TV, yeah.

Anyway, back to stalking torrents.

It's just that, by the look of the trailer (there's a YouTube link at clamp_now and xxx_holic), they messed up a lot of the plotline. It seems Mokona is awaken on episode fucking one. And some sagas were moved forward or behind. This kind of shit is creeping me out.

Do you think the fact we're the only ones scared in the fandom makes us some sort of elitist canon whores?

I like it when animes are different to their mangas, but I'm still creeped out. After all, my subfandom includes Yuuko -who still doesn't look nearly as pretty, although she's better- and Larg -who's so OOC it makes drunken!anime!Spinel look sane.

If worrying about the main character's development makes me an elitist canon whore, so be it. This aren't small changes we're talking about.

I don't mind it when the anime is different, as long as it makes sense. For example, in CCS they could shuffle the Cards :P change the order a lot because some Cards were filler, or because they could include the character development bits in a different moment. But Watanuki actually learns something with every mini-saga, and it's going to be very difficult not to make it look as if he's maturing/regressing/maturing at random.

Changing the order of smaller arcs wouldn't be so bad, but the two they mentioned are biggies... :/
