Neeeeeenjaaaaaaa

I've been reading too much about ninjas today. Why? Because I want to shrine-ify the Kurogane fanlisting. And let's face it, Kurogane doesn't really act like a normal ninja. That makes me wonder if it's just his case, who was trained as a warrior and a noble, or if Japan's ninja concept is just different than the real one. Also, I need to reread the flashbacks to make sure if the other ninjas use swords like him or not. At least Souma doesn't seem to.

Then in Wikipedia I read the ninjas did use swords (ninja-ken), but they were shorter than a kataka and longer than a wakizashi.

That reminded me of when Kurogane bought Souhi.

Jamie's translation:
Kurogane: A long sword, huh?
Qiang Ang: You've had a little bit of experience with this, haven't you?

However, the Spanish version translated it the wrong way:
Kurogane: A long sword?
Qiang Ang: You'll have to get used to (it).

Of course, I reread the latter translation first, and I found myself comparing Ginryuu and Souhi's length and going WTF. Ay. They're about the same! Stupid Norma Editorial...
