Funny festivities

Okay, I wish you guys:
- a happy towel day
- a happy lilac-thingie day *hasn't read any of the Discworld's Watch books so has no idea WTF that one is about*
- un feliz día del Orgullo Friki a los españoles

I went to the comic bookstore today, because it's the first edition of the Geek Pride day here in Spain. Therefore, my usual crack providers decided to sell everything 10% off all day long. I couldn't resist, of course, even if it's a cheap discount.

Today's loot:
- Shirahime-sho
- TRC #10 (Soseki/Suzuran OTP! their love is so... um, forbidden or something. And dammit, why do I always buy mangas so late? I missed a contest!)
- Blade of the Immortal #1 and 2 (I suddenly decided I wanted to start a gore-filled seinen, even though it's long and expensive and inconcluse. Let's see how long this one will last. I should've started 20th Century Boys, but they didn't have the first issues.)

Meanwhile, I don't know how the Spanish translators manage to make Fye sound GAYER than in the original. "Ahora que me fijo, hoy tú también estás encantador, Kurotin."

And Mokona goes and says this in the extra story: "Quizás estuvo mirando esto. *flails Miyuki-chan in the Wonderland* Los DVD porno que esconde Kurogane..." OMG this sounds so much like that fic I wrote one day...

¿El día de nuestro Primer Gobierno Patrio es el día del Orgullo Friki? XDDD Eso no me debería dar tanta gracia...

Es el día de Douglas Adams también. O el día de la toalla. Hay una festividad de Discworld ese día, pero no leí ese libro, sea cual sea.

Parece que lo eligieron porque ese día se estrenó la primera peli de Star Wars.
