This is the return of those little paranoia crossover posts. Eeeeh, it's been a while!

I know squat about butterflies species, so I honestly thought black swallowtails would look like a dark moth, only with prettier wing shape. Like the ones in the opening.

And I go and google it.

Man, I thought they'd be entirely black.

The spots, man. Color spots. The shape isn't entirely the same, but something in these species screams RUBY MOON and SPINEL SUN to me.

Sure, there's not a real connection to CLAMPverse, Ohkawa had nothing to do with it (by the way, did you know the kanji in her name don't mean swallowtail? I keep getting "red banana" in the dictionary, WTF), and I doubt Suga Shikao knows a thing about this randomness. It's a little case of "ooh, interesting coincidence" that actually IS a coincidence.

It's kind of amusing that they accidentally put in something like that, when they're trying so hard to remove any reference to Mr Unspeakable. You can't get rid of Clow and derivates so easily, P.I.G.! They're everywhere!

This is why I was amused to begin with. I tend to assume most people in the world think CCS is just about a magical girl with cards and nothing else -Clow who? Eriol what?-, forgetting about the other characters who aren't "cute" in the process.
