Well, be fucked. All your snakes are belong to us! It's more amusing if you're an 80's child and are somehow familiar with G.I. Joe. I LOLed.

Someone brought this up in a board:

My question is, why did Ms. Mizuki know everything about Clow and the cards before she went to England where she met Eriol?

Hmmm, except she totally didn't?

At least in the manga, I always understood she only knew the Moon Bell guarded in the shrine was special, but had no idea of the whole point. I always assumed Eriol explained the whole thing to her and then she returned and got involved directly. I mean, Kaho has powers, but they're not that 1337. She did see her wonky love life in advance, that's it. But I see no proof she knew about the cards when she still lived in Japan.

I'm trying to remember the anime, and I really can't see any hint of her knowing about the cards beforehand. Hell, we even know less of Kaho in anime.

That's what I understood, too. She knew that the bell had powers, and I think she knew that she'd have to pass it on, but I don't have my manga with me so I can't check that... I assumed Eriol told her everything else.

I'm rereading the manga between meals, since now I have the collection complete, and I see nothing supporting this person's supposition.
