The treasure cove of crossovers

Some screencaps from episode 18:

So there's the daffodil jug, and the Chii earphones. The tiki statue has been around before, also. Good we have some consistency.

The kiddie chair, Zantetsuken the red baseball bat, Fye's staff... and WTF is Hikaru's sword doing in Yuuko's shop, from all things?! Did I miss something in a manga chapter or something? Jesus, P.I.G!

And next to the armor suit, the poor, forgotten bird staff replica. Is it me or the thing looks a little bit longer?

I'm still WTFed over Hikaru's sword. That, and the TRC spoiler at [livejournal.com profile] clamp_hikari, if it turns out to be true. (ETA: It's true!) Vampire whut?

WTF INDEED O______O Are we supposed to consider it important somehow since Ohkawa-sensei belongs to the staff?
And no, you didn't miss a thing in the manga, this is anime's pure crackness O_O

Thought so. Nnnnnng. A Subaru mention is out of the question but a sword that shouldn't be there is fine and dandy? Who the hell decides on crossovers? If they had to choose sword to randomly put there, there's Ginryuu which is somewhere there in canon. But a sword that burns everyone but the person it was built for?! It HAS to be a replica like Clow's staff.

Maybe it's a hint Yuuko DID go to Cephiro? Or, I don't know, the background designer was a Rayearth fanboy.

LOL ! I second everything that you said xDDDD Indeed it would be more appropriated to show Ginryuu but, this can't be that random. I mean, they have no basis to draw it (it's not in the manga), this smells like Ohkawa to me xD Even if it won't be important in the future, I think she hinted that to the background designers.

WORD on the replica XD Especially because that would mean Hikaru lost her sword, and that would mean Yuuko granted her a wish and... the cycle goes on endless @_@

Unless it's one of those cases of an alternative world with weapon recycling, and the sword there is different, doesn't burn anyone, and/or someone else than Hikaru had it? I mean, if Clow!Touya has Taishaku-ten's sword, anything is possible.

Or maybe they wanted to put either Ashura or Yasha's sword but the background designer researched wrong?
