And *I* am the family geek

Sorry if anyone was waiting for me on IMs last night D: I wasn't home: I slept over at my mom's.

By the way, eating Burger King for dinner causes me nightmares. Have you had those dreams in which you do something, then dream you wake up in your bed when you're actually still sleeping? I did, last night. A dream within a dream. Or maybe more than that.

I went to the fair again with my family, and then stopped by at the usual comic store so my brothers got some Magic decks. I bought Saiyuki #2, the two issues of Sandman I had pending, and three pins (one of Suu of Clover, one of CLAMP's 15th logo with Soel and Larg, and one of Ravenclaw's coat of arms).

And yet, my boughts were still not remotely as bad as theirs.

Besides the Magic cards, they bought a Naruto keyring and a Naruto pin each; Ale got both things of Naruto, Danny got the keyring of Gaara and the pin of Sasuke.

Besides! Danny went nuts when we were leaving the fair and bought a 25€ plushie O____o It was also Naruto's: of Pakkun the dog. It's huge! Real size pug. We call him "Veinticinco" XDDDD

And yet, I'm still the nutjob of our generation. Jesus.

Dude, I know! I saw a 10€ Kurogane keyring plushie (like, 10cm tall), and I thought it was too much. And that crazy kid goes and buys a huge plush with half the money he tends to spend in videogames. Wow.

And yet, I'm still the geekest of the three children. What the hell.

Well, you can't really measure geekyness with how much money one spends. Or I wouldn't be a geek at all. D:

I don't know, but someone who has watched more than 85 episodes of the same anime in youtube in a period of two weeks should classify for a geek. A specialized geek, but geek nonetheless.

Then again, my brothers are twelve and I'm twenty-four. You're forgiven everything by your relatives until you reach your mid-teens.

Ha, yes, that definitely counts. XD

And I'm probably biased, anyway - my family might laugh at some of my *specific* geekyness, but we're all geeks in our way. Dude, my dad's 48 and his laptop has a Puss in Boots wallpaper.

Those dreams are creepy. I've had food-caused nightmares before. Chemistry is amazing.

It was pretty weird. I had an anime-based dream first. Then I woke up, and glanced around still in my bed, and saw enormous bugs in a wall that's never there in reality. Then I supposed one of them had bit me and I was having sick hallucinations. I fell asleep and the dream changed again, like I was dreaming again. It was really strange.

Have you had those dreams in which you do something, then dream you wake up in your bed when you're actually still sleeping?
That's happened to me, and it was SCARY—because the thing I was doing was running away from these blood-covered rats and cats who were going to kill me. They were still there when I dreamed that I woke up.

To dream of waking up is called a false awakening. It's quite common.

Last night I had a dream that my mother took me and my sister to visit all these scary places with disgusting bones and corpses everywhere. We were going to visit the "Stomach Lady" (one of the creepy people) again. I had an evil voice in my head that told me all the bad things that were going to happen to me in the near future.

I woke up around 4 AM and had to read a book and play a CD before I could go back to sleep without fear of having another nightmare.

Oh damm I had those kind of dreams before but the worst thing is that later I don't remember if it was a dream or it wasn't ...
