Hey guys. Just wondering if anyone here knows about it: What computer screen is better and most readable for a very myopic/astigmatic person, 17" or 19"? We're buying a new one, but there's a big chance my two favorite resolutions (800 and 1024) are not available in the new models. And frankly, I'm concerned I won't be able to read for fuck. I think I normally have like -3.5 to 3.0 in one eye and -4.5 to -4.0 in the other one.

I went today downtown to learn how to take the bus(es) from the town we now live in. I bought a Pterry book, Interesting Times. With this, I'm almost done with the Rincewind books (I'm missing The Last Hero).

Pues a 800x600 una tft de 17 si que se vera una MIERDA, como mucho ponlo a 1024 XDDD Lo dicho, puedes poner letras grandes en el windows y te sera mas comodo. Por cierto 1280 para jugar es una pasada, y ademas las paginas de las scanlations caben enteras en un pantallazo ;D Lo unico que no me gusta de las tft's es que los videos, especialmente anime, 'flickean' un poquito, pero en el bsplayer se puede 'corregir' ^___^

No, si ya me acostumbré al 1024 muy bien. Es el 1280xloquesea lo que no soporto. Y seguro, se puede poner el tamaño que uno quiera de letra, pero los websites personales o fansites suelen estar diseñados para un cierto tamaño de letra y o te salen fijas o se te ve horrible/deshecho el layout cuando la cambias.

Hombre, está muy bien tener toda la imagen en una pantalla, pero no es plan de tener que visquear para leer el texto, digo yo.

si es de 19 pulgadas no vizqueas, se ven las imagenes igual de grandes, proporcionalmente, por tanto el texto es igual de grande, encambio los iconos y le texto del bindows si que queda un poco mas pequeñajo :-/

ummm, yo protestaria un poco, esas pantallas las puedees poner mas al fondo de la mesa y 19 pulgadas no molestan y se ve mejor.....

Es que cuando mi madre dispone... -____- Ella no quiere que me dañe más la vista, y 19" está muy grande.
