I really shouldn't be fangirling after the cliffhangers (then again, the Zuko fangirls are still drooling and the Zutara faction are celebrating for next week), but here's one screencap from Avatar 2x18.

Dunno, I was expecting something else visually. Maybe in the lines of the Emperor of Xing, or maybe an old guy who was still kickass like king Bumi (by the way, how come there are two kings in the Earth Kingdom? plothole? or Bumi only rules Omashu while nameless Earth King "rules" [more like Long Feng, but you get my point] everything?), or maybe someone imponent while not a warrior like King Nefertari Cobra of Alabasta?

But no. A dork with glasses and a braid. Well, it does make sense for the Earth King to look like that and all, but yeah.

Anyway, I still have to fangirl this week's Heroes and what I've read so far of One Piece (now that we're mentioning Alabasta and stuff...) I wanted to wait until hamsterfactor was back, but I really want to rant.

Well, the Earth Kingdom has a heavy Asian base so looking kinda cliché Asian makes sense. Then again, I wasn't spoiled for this week. Now, next week...
