taotrooper: It's a polar bear dancing the hula; your argument is invalid (Kaho / she's rather dotty)

Bringin painful back

Dear back, shoulders, and neck:

See, I was supposed to work these days on schoolwork. Going into one of your aching phases when I have to use the laptop is NOT ON, idiots.

I'm glad you took the hint today and calmed down a bit compared to yesterday, but damn.

No love for you,

Brain.

To make this post less... personal, two things:

a) The cat meme Oh hi, I upgraded your RAM: 1, 2, 3. No idea what it means, but then again it's likely another 4chan thing.

Why am I linking it? Because I just randomly decided that "oh hi, I upgraded your RAM" or a variation should be Eriol/Kaho's ship name or something.

b) For people who read WIPs and multichapter fics, how long is "too long" for a fic chapter length? I was about to hit the 3K words last night and I was still half done, so I wasn't sure if I could go on or just slice it to two chapters.

I think 3K is a good number. My WIP's chapters are around 1.5K - 2K, and people consider them short... also, I remember there was a HP site (FictionAlley, I think?) where they had calculated that 3K was the average chapter length in the fics they got.

I think last night's chapters had a good length, it didn't drag on. Also, you have to remember that reading online is tiring, that's why fics tend to have shorter chapters than real books. I'd say 3K, 3.5K is a nice length.

Yah. 'nother 4chan thing. My /b/tards for friends didn't stop saying it for ages -____-

According to this (http://kss.mysticalaura.com/info/main.php?page=ccsshipping), the "official" fanon ship name is Youngershipping. Blah. Your suggestion is more interesting, but always keep in mind the golden rule: Does it match or overtake "The Government Stole My Toad" in coolness?

...They don't even make sense. And E/K share name with TERADA/RIKA?! Bitch. please.

Dude, all these shipnames are teh suck. The golden rule should be not letting a S+S fanbrat to come up with shipnames for a CLAMP fandom.

Nothing beats The Government Stole My Toad. Ever, in history. It even makes me ship them somehow, whatever JKR says.

The whole RAM upgrading is because well... if magic artifacts were like computer, Eriol and Kaho DID upgrade Sakura's RAM.

I think my most random in-joke shipname was Mahjong Solitaire.

They're based off of the Pokemon fandom ship names. Make what you want of that factoid.

By their naming scheme, Neville/Luna would be... MisfitShipping, or something like that. MisfitShipping or The Government Stole My Toad... hmmm...
