taotrooper: It's a polar bear dancing the hula; your argument is invalid (Link / Twilight Princess version)

It's the season to be, er... eating a lot?

STEP ONE
- Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

- If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. [Note: Your home address is not required!]

- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post so that the holiday joy will spread.

STEP TWO
- Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call. There are no guarantees with this project, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

(I'm starting with the -can't buy this- part of the wishlist)

1. A Nintendo Wii or a DS. Even though I'll probably play with them (harharhar) twice a year considering the amount of dust my consoles have on them. But it'll all change when I get...
2. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Gamecube version prefered since I won't have a Wii (harharhar) and I can always leech my brothers' Wii game.
3. The XXXHOLiC manga guidebook or any of both Fullmetal Alchemist manga artbooks.
4. Books. I really want to read Kino no Tabi #1 and the Slayers novels, but normal books would be fine as well. Probably some Discworld or Gaimanverse.
5. A new mp3 player. Alphonse is adorable, but he's simple. The apple green-colored iPod looks cool.
6. Icons and graphics (of things and people I like). You wouldn't believe how happy they make me.
7. Fanarts of my obscure pairings or loved minor characters. Or hell, even scans of doujinshis or links to fanarts made by other people.
8. Fanfics are always appreciated. I didn't join any Secret Santa because I'm noy bold enough to do somebody else's request. So I'm not getting anything this year, unless you're sweethearts. You know my tastes; genfics and fics about pairings I like are welcomed. The obscurer the better.
9. Translations of Soel to Larg, dammit (why does this book never leave my Christmas wishlists in any form?)
10. I can't think of anything else that I publicly want. Recs of fandoms you think I should get (more) into, maybe?

ETA: Nota a mí misma.
