- I don't care about Fuuma. The more things he does, the more he confuses me, and the less I care. Not even killing Kotori made me feel anything towards him, except the WTF. I don't care about him being with anyone; not Kamui, not Kakyou, not Subaru, nor Nataku, not whoever. I don't care if he was always like that or not. I just don't care.
- Seishirou is overrated. And so are all the Sakurazukas.
- Subaru was better in Tokyo Babylon, and I couldn't stand him after the Rainbow Bridge event.
- A confession: I would've liked Kakyou less if he didn't interact with Hokuto. Hokuto makes everything more interesting! So, even if he's the bishounen I drool for, I do agree he's too wangsty, only surpassed by Subaru. ~~Hokuto has a touch, man; guy who cares about her, guy who turns into a puddle of waaaangst.~~
- I think Karen is a better female character than Arashi.
- WTF ending aside, the anime series wasn't that bad to me. Fugly as hell, and the CLAMP Campus was missed, but it still could've been way worse.
- If Kamui had to be fucked by anyone, better be Keiichi. He can't get his mental health worse. Probably his guilt, but not his sanity.
- Yuzuriha having a crush on Kusanagi makes sense to me. He likes animals :3

- I might be a bad person for saying this, but angst!Fye is annoying. Yeah, we knew the genki act was a façade, but I liked it when he kept the façade. He's starting to act like a mix between Ran, Kamui and X!Subaru, and that's not a good combo.
- I saw spoilers about the feeding thing, and I was left indifferent.
- A big part of their shippers are about as batshit as the Kuromoyo/FyexChii faction. And hell, I hate those two ships a lot.
- They're not canon yet. You're not better than Kuromoyo even though you do have way more subtext. Shut the fuck up.
- Kurogane is more awesome than Fye.
- I can see Fye topping. I can see Kurogane topping. I hate making one a fixed uke.

- Clow is a fascinating yet overlooked character. Then again, every character above twenty (physical) years old is, especially the dead ones.
- I don't see what's so special about Tomoyo. She doesn't even interest me in the slightly. Screw her maturity and ability to let her love go. And that's, like, the only thing about her remotely interesting between her squees and random reasing, and by the fanfiction I get the feeling that's NOT what the fanbrats like about her. Is it because she's oh-so-perfect? Well, she's still creepy, and not even in a nice way.
- Eriol and Tomoyo have practically nothing in common. I fail to see them as a couple, not even in anime canon where the ship isn't explicitly pedophile. The fact almost all fics are high in OOC and/or AU prooves they can't be OMGmeant2B! Also, telling someone they're kind or insightful =/= twoo wub. Stop saying the manga has hints when two pages after your arguments Tomoyo herself is shipping Eriol with Kaho.
- I love ALL FOUR members of the Eriol-tachi, and I believe with all my heart they're not evil creeps (or whores, in the case of the female-or-almost-one members.)
- Kaho is not an aloof ice queen who only cares about her mission (or Touya). She has other feelings, you know. And I don't only mean romantic ones. Also, she's THE Touya/Yukito shipper in manga.
- Eriol/Kaho is not pedophilia, and if any of them is a cradle-robber is HIM.
- Fujitaka wouldn't throw away his wedding ring and 3273467 portraits of Nadeshiko to have sex with her cousin. And Sonomi wouldn't be that willing either.
- Touya is BIsexual. Yukito does have a cock. Deal.
- Yukito is adorable. He's not as perfect as he looks like, and he's not an idiot.
- And speaking of that, Fujitaka isn't stupid or absent-minded either.

- It's not a good series. Er, I mean, it started alright, and the first episode introduced me to the series, and it was witty at the beginning, but after that, and seeing it all as a whole...
-The ending was a goddamned badfic. Mary Sue as plot device? Check. OMGdrama? Check. OOC? Check. Jealousy? Check. Relatives acting OOC and opposing to crap? Double check. It only lacked more twincest to look like a fangirl -or even Renge!- wrote the script.
- BONES can't adapt a manga faithfully even if their lives depended on it. That's not necessarily a bad thing, if you prefer their version over the original or like them both. But I always end up thinking if this is the same series or just weird-ass fanfiction with pointless fanservice and hints to almost every pairing. It happened to me with Ouran, too.
- The backstories all were hinting on how Tamaki was an awesome person who joined them all and accepted them as they are. That alone is an unpopular thought. But ALSO, I was bummed how HIS backstory and character development was so... underdeveloped in the end. Even undeveloped.
- Besides the ending WTFery, I disagree on the popular opinion that there was more TamaHaru in the anime than in the manga. WTF? They didn't get to animate the positive TamaHaru manga scenes, so I don't get where this came from. Besides, the anime had even more hints for every character BUT that one.
- Renge wasn't funny. The banana peels were extremely cheap comedy relief.
- I doubt the twins were fucking each other. I know they shared a bed, naked, but really!
- Grandma Suoh didn't make sense.

- I HATED the ending. How the FUCK they can't be happily ever after, after all that happened?!
- Ashura is the most batshit thing in CLAMP, ever. I don't find him/her/it cute or pretty in any of their forms. They're creepy, and even creepier when an innocent kid.
- Yasha is boring.
- Ashura/Yasha being canon was kinda disgusting. What happened to them being like daddy and child?
- I don't find the appeal of Taishaku-ten/Ashura-oh. Especially after knowing how it went.
- I think the most pretty, beautiful characters in the series are Ten-oh and the Karura sisters.
- Kendappa/Souma were not cool anymore after Kendappa went all Seishirou on them (it's more like Seishirou went all Kendappa, but you get my point). Her logic is so twisted to me.
- Ten-oh isn't boring to me. I just want to pinch his cheeks, aww! ^o^ ~~And marry him.~~

- I don't ship it. Just because it's becoming canon and Doumeki worked hard on it doesn't mean I have to LIKE it (or even ship Watanuki with somebody else).
- I don't even care about Doumeki. I find him boring; he always acts the same ways, and there's nothing I can love in that. It baffles me how 99.9% of the fandom and all my flist less two people worship this guy. I don't see it. He's treated in such a shallow way in the plot and I can't even understand him. And I'm tired of being treated like a heathen or a bad fan because I don't find him the most adorable and/or sexy HOLiC character OMGEVAH!!1! and I don't push him towards Watanuki.
- I believe Watanuki needs more friends and less potential love interests. Luckily for all the fandom, CLAMP disagree with me.
- Doumeki isn't The Smooth Hawt Seductive Seme. Watanuki isn't The Girly Squealing Blushing Uke. Even if I was a shipper I'd rather cut my wrists before reading a fanfiction in which they act like that.
- No, look, it IS possible Watanuki isn't secretly having wet dreams with Doumeki and wishes Shizuka's dick was right up his ass ever since he met him, but is In Denial Of His Gayness. Maybe he'll fall in love slowly without noticing it until Doumeki confesses? I mean, it's not unrealistic. Sakura Kinomoto, goddammit.
- Bisexuality? EXISTS. He won't suddenly think Himawari is ugly and yucky after he and Doumeki become an item.
- I like Touya/Yukito, Rikuou/Kazahaya, and Kentarou/Takeshi better.

I don't hate the pairing. I don't think I even hate any pairing in HOLiC besides Yuuko/Watanuki. Hell, if Doumeki was another kind of character I'd be all over it as well. I just think the ship is a tad overrated.

And I have a lot of sane shippers as friends, so it's good not every Doumeki fan is as loud as most of them.

I agree with you about Doumeki's character being the main problem for the pairing-however, the reason I really dislike this pairing is that I don't like the idea of Xxxholic as a romance manga. It's not about finding true love, right?
Therefore, I don't ship anybody (okay, I admit I do have a bit of fanciful "what if" for Clow/Yuuko). Not Himawari/Watanuki, not Yuuko/Watanuki (gah!), not anybody.
Unfortunately, I will have to admit, that yeah, Doumeki/Watanuki is looking canon. But since when has CLAMP given any sort of shipper what they really want? I foresee none of us being happy.

- I think the plot itself, with the magic and the social messages, was more intriguing and interesting than the subtext and the bet thing.
- "Do you find me sexy?" gets old quickly.
- I think Seishirou is a bit overrated by the fans.
- I actually don't have any thoughts on Sei-chan's real feelings for Subaru pre-X age, or if he lied his ass off or was on denial, or what he was telling to Subaru when he died in X, or anything. I like not knowing; it makes it more interesting.
- Subaru is cute, but Watanuki > him.
- Like everyone else is saying in this meme, what the fuck is up with the man-eating cherry tree? I had contact with the fandom before I finished the manga, and I remember myself trying to find how it turned out from "oh hi, I'm casually burying people under these trees :D" to "all ur ded r belong 2 teh sakura tree". Is it sakurazukamori's literal translation? I kinda missed it.
- Hokuto, I love you, and I admire you for being a martyr, but your decision was STUPID and brought your brother more pain ~~and eye issues~~ years later. You'd think it was kinda pointless to trust in someone as twisted as Seishirou.

Ugh. UGH. Who CARES! I will be very very angry if Subaru is somehow important to the plot (I swear, I'm the only one who hates him...)

That's kinda hard... SPOILERS.

- Personally, I find all female (or apparently female) characters in this manga who aren't clients so cool. Which is particularly rare, considering I always find some any female in a CLAMP manga (that is, a long enough manga; series of 1-3 volumes don't normally have that problem) to annoy me.
- Yuuko/Watanuki boggles my mind because of the way the characters are. First, if Yuuko had found Watanuki attractive she'd be flirting a lot more with him, or even making serious moves ~~to the point of sexual harrassment~~. Second, the more the plot goes on, the more they are like a mother and a son (or at least an aunt and a very close nephew). Not even when Yuuko raised his chin on the first volumes I could see any hint of UST there.
- I don't ship Watanuki with anyone, and that includes the ladies. Like I said in the 104 rant, I think he needs more friends stat. He's so adorable towards Himawari, and Zashiki's crush is darn cute, but it's just not meant to be.
- Watanuki's friendship with Kohane is endearing. But this is likely a popular opinion.
- Himawari has raised for me from indifference to creepiness to awesomeness in a matter of chapters. I respect her a lot, and as dangerous as she is, she deserves to be around Kimi, and she deserves Tanpopo. She's not just there to be pretty; she has a background, and an interesting one.
- I didn't understand why so many 104 shippers fret during the post-window thing. Himawari sacrificing her back for him made so much sense, you know, and not in a romantic sense. You have to keep in mind Watanuki (and later Doumeki, but mostly Wata) is the only friend she's ever had who didn't get scared at her ~~and survived~~. When one is a lonely person who believes one doesn't deserve friends, and someone is still there for you, it's something SO big! And even if she was convinced he'd leave her for good after that, she still wanted to help him. It's selfness, it's loyalty. I think Watanuki and Doumeki are the most important people in her life. Sometimes friends are everything.
- By the way, I'm from the "Watanuki is bisexual" school. Liking a girl =/= straight, and ending up with a guy =/= ewww grrls. He can find girls pretty and still end up with Doumeki, guys.
- Zashiki Warashi is as cute as a button, I love her a lot, and I think it's retarded the opinion that more Zashiki in the anime = P.I.G pushed the het.
- I liked Lady Spider's role on the plot, although I don't like her. One of the persons I love to hate, I guess.

All you need in order to get a cover is looking good and have some base of popularity in your original series. And CLAMP did all the relevant RG Veda covers already, so they're in the middle of an X cover rush. Subaru is so next in line, and the Clow cover probably won't come until the series is almost over, with my luck.
