Awesomeness!
FMA 68 finally yes! The flashbacks were so cute and sad ;______;
I need to remind my flist, however, that they SHOULD LJ-cut the stupid spoilers, even if it's something as vague as "yay omg this character! this family! that other character!". Because it really SUCKS to wake up and find out this character, and this family, and that other character were going to be IN the chapter before I could even scroll to the download link. It kind of spoils the surprise, kids.
Can someone try this meme? Pleeeeease?

But one thing is talking vaguely about stuff that happened months later, and another is spilling almost a whole chapter three posts above the scans. It's a bit like posting "Snape killed Dumbledore!": One thing is saying it NOW, and another is saying it the same day HBP came out and before some people can even buy the book. Yours was a point in between: you could read the canon online, but waited until you could buy it, right? However, for someone who reads scanlations it's old news. It's hard to handle things in that case, and I had no way to know until you told me off.
This was spoiling a raw chapter minutes or hours after the scans went through. Chronologically, in a flist, you get to see the spoiling post before the link for scans.

Just sympathizing because I hate spoilers too.
The time issue is obviously something about which different people disagree with. I know I'm a bit extreme in that I don't put limit to time. Lots of people have various opinion onto the time limit, going from days to years. *shrugs*

I think it depends on the fandom, the time thing. HP is so global that two years = old, for instance. However, I wouldn't like it if I got spoiled for books and movies that aren't that pop culture; if someone told me who dies in the second ASoIF book, I take that as a spoiler even though the book's been for ages. Also, things from movies like "Vader is Luke's father", or "Rosebud is a sled", or "Soylent Green is people"... those are spoilers, yeah, but it's such a part of pop culture and parodies you have to live under a rock to avoid them.
I think I'm more flexible with anime/manga, and it varies from case to case.
