UGH PURPLE PINK LAYOUT

Happy, er, candy day folks.

I commented around in some interview memes, and here are the answers of the questions I was given. Sorry, I won't post the meme because thinking of questions for you is exhausting D:

[livejournal.com profile] abarero's questions:

1. If you had $100,000 and only 24 hours to spend it, what would you do with it?
Like, I can't save some? I have to spend it all?
If I can save/give away money, I'd probably give half of it to my immediate family. I'd try to share it equally, because my grandma's relatives still have issues with inheritances and we're a bit traumatized with that amount of greed.
I'd give a thousand or two to charity. The ones with kids starving and animals dying.
I'd put five or six apart to save for my dream car -I still can't drive, and I don't want my family to use it before I can; it'd smell funny.
I owe Estefanía about 40 euros.
The rest of it? SHOPPING SPREE, BABY. Without even leaving the house! I'd just put the money to a credit card account, and I'd raid the Internets. Mostly from Play.com, and YesAsia, and Amazon, and maybe I'd make some bids at Y!Auctions. I'd get all the artbooks I want, the plushies I want, the DS with the Phoenix Wright games, the Playstation games I want, a lot of DVD sets, and the rest I'd spend in books and manga.
And I'd bribe someone to translate Soel & Larg to English or any language I understand.

2. What's your top 3 Disney movies and why?
Three? D: That's too little. It's a tough call, since I was raised with Disney movies (and now I read CLAMP manga with gore, lol)
I. The Lion King. That movie just has it all. It's perfect.
II. A tie between Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid. I can't bring myself to pick between one of these. BatB is for my romantic heart, which is hidden somewhere. TLM because it came out when I was in first grade so it was the first animated Disney movie created while I was alive. Besides, the secondary characters in both rock my sock.
III. The Sword in the Stone. Because that one is all about the lulz, and it has lots of magic, and a non-cliche Merlin, and a sarcastic owl. It just amuses me so.
The ones that didn't make it: Aladdin, Robin Hood, Fantasia, and Mulan.

3. Which would you choose: The ability to fly or the ability to turn invisible? Why?
Nathan or Claude?
Turning invisible scares me, because what if I forget how to turn visible again? I'm always meshing with the crowd and it pains me, so I don't know if i want to be completely invisible. Flying sounds like fun, so I'm picking that one.

4. What's the most you've ever spent on something anime/manga-related?
I don't spend a lot, although I went a but nuts this January (had money from Christmas) and spent about fifty-sixty (more or less) euros on manga books.
I imported two artbooks at the same time once. For merchandise, that's the most I've spent.

5. Coke or Pepsi? (or neither)
Venezuela is weird because we had no Coca-cola branch for years. So basically, I was raised with Pepsi. I still drink Pepsi at home, but when I go out I just buy any of both. My taste buds aren't too good so they don't feel such a strong difference (Coke is sweeter for me, though)

[livejournal.com profile] haro's questions:

1) Is there a song that just drives you nuts every time you hear it? Like maybe you've heard it so much you're sick of it, or you just totally can't stand it- whatever the reason.
It varies with time, I think. But the songs I want to die right now are "Hips don't lie" and one that's sounding a lot here of dance-pop called "Lucky". Nnnnnng.

2) Did you have a dream job when you were a child? How does it compare to now?
I wanted to be a videogame designer XD So I decided I had to study Computer Science first since there were no videogame schools at Venezuela.
When I grew up a bit more, I decided not to be involved with videogames, because I figured the game companies only choose from the best programmers and that was too much pressure. I considered architecture, philology/translation, literature, graphic design... But in the end, when I met the Internet, I went back to Computer Science XDDDDD But this time not as videogame designer/programmer. My dream job now is webmaster or website designer. It's not like college is helping, but at least I suppose it's giving me some base...

3) What was your first anime/manga fandom and what do you think of said series now?
I think it depends of the definition of fandom. The first anime I was hooked to was Candy Candy. The first anime I shipped something in was Hana no Ko Lunlun. The first anime I watched whole was Sailor Moon. The first animes that obsessed me into Japanese animation were Rurouni Kenshin and Slayers. But the first anime that had me interacting with people (on the Internet, mostly, in mailing lists) and building websites was Neon Genesis Evangelion, so I guess this one fits the criteria better. As in what do I think about EVA now... I still like it, and I read the manga scanlations, but I don't overrate it as much as I used to.

4) What's your favorite animal and why?
Aww, I like a lot of animals so I can't choose one. I like emperor penguins because they're badass. I like dolphins because they're smart. I like ducks because they're endearing. I like bears (polar, brown, panda, whatever) because they can be cuddly or dangerous. And those are just a few.

5) Was/is there are subject in school you wish you could have done/could do better in? There may be more than one, but whichever one you feel strongest about.
Physical Education, because I'm bad at sports and it fucked my marks up so bad. I could've tried harder, but the fact our teacher was a lecherous old man, who kept touching the girls and used to mock me, turned me off from effort.
But in academics, I should've been better in Physics. I don't get it: I was good at Math and all the science subjects, and yet, I was average on this. The problems were so abstract for my mind to grasp, so learning the formulae wouldn't help entirely. So frustrating. Oh, and my best friend was better than me, and that got in my nerves. LOL envy.
