Siiiiiiiiiigh

These three weeks are going to pass soooooo slowly XP

More interviews, from Sha-chan this time.

1. How is it that you fell under the claws of the CLAMP girls?
Yue.
No, really. It wasn't just that he was pretty and aethereal and that. It was that twist, you know. Watching the anime, you'd never suspect something remotely like that from Yukito. And in almost all CLAMP works you have this twist that alters the plotline radically. It was something fresh for me at that time, so I went on with their mangas. Because I can find pretty people anywhere, and cute mascots, and intriguing characters. But the twists and random crossovers, not so much.

2. How long have you been a Nintendo fan?
Since I was 8 or 9. My mom and my stepdad bought the NES for themselves me. I continued with the SNES, and the first GB (aka la triple G: gordo, grande y gris XD). Before I knew, I had never touched a Sega console (which was the Sony of that time). Right now I do like my PS2 very much because it gives me my Katamari and soon my Okami, but Nintendo is Nintendo, and Shigeru Miyamoto was my god from my childhood.

3. Do you consider yourself a sociable person?
No. Next!

4. Do you think the things you like follow a certain pattern or you just like them randomly?
They probably do, but it's not the only thing they must follow. You could claim, for instance, that I have a fetish for mysterious dark-haired guys with glasses; then I'm honestly too creeped out by Kyouya to find him hot. You could say I love badass-styled swordsmen because I'm a fan of Kenshin and Kurogane; and then, Zoro is not remotely my favorite One Piece character. You could assume I only find blond/mousy-haired guys pretty when they have baby or girly faces; then, there's Sanji. You could imagine I'm disliking all the cutesy, femenine girls from CLAMP; and then I find Himawari or Zashiki Warashi adorable.
The point is, with characters I don't think I fall in conventions to feel attracted to them.
Now, with fandoms and ships, I think it's easier to pin me. Although who knows, you know. I didn't think I was going to be so into One Piece a year ago, and look at me now.

5. Will wank ever stop in the fandom? I know Mokona's cute, and adorable (I love it too) but why is it that you love it/them so much?
I suppose it's Mokona Modoki, because I never cared about Teh God.
You know, they might be witty and have a defined personality. Still, several other mascots do. There's Spinel and Kero, and Chopper, and Ioryogi. But it comes to this: they were made by two of my favorite CLAMP characters. It's probably a shallow reason; hell, I used to like Kero more than Spinel, but it changed when I obsessed over Eriol and now Suppi is my homeboy, er, cat. But I think it was the metacanon that got me in. Their interactions with Yuuko and Clow's family are gold. It's an extension from the Clow/Yuuko fixation they're their babies!, just like my guardian fixation comes from Clow and Eriol love, but they're so awesome on their own.

I am totally the same with number 4. I used to think I always went for the anti hero and was never one for main characters but that doesn't seem as true lately. I am totally in love with Luffy even though I usually dislike his character type but he is my favorite on One Piece.

On a side note Kenshin and Sanji are love.
