What I have to hear
1. Oh technology gap.
Uncle: *after closing the enormous amount of TWO windows* Bah, what's the need for so many windows in computers anyway?
Me: *facepalming* Because that's the whole point? You know how the system is called WINDOWS?! That's the reason!
If it was a different relative, I would've explained what multitasking is and the long way OSs had to go in order to accomplish it, but he's a dumbass when it comes to technology. I doubt he knows what an OS is. He can't even figure out how to display the latest lost call on his cellphone.
Meanwhile, my mom reads me the specifications of her new digital cam, even though I know less about cameras than her. I must admit, though, I'm impressed they can now connect to a wi-fi network and send the pictures to an email address or upload them on a brand server. That could save a lot of USB awkwardness just for one or two pics.
2. It's been ages since I last made an icon post, so it felt great to do it. I think it's odd that I can break the iconmaking block with old series or minor fandoms, while I can't even touch main big fandoms like CLAMP or FMA even if I want to. But hey, I like the ones I posted last night. Or at least most of them.
3. Fliiiiiiist! Give me a character or ship to rant about, pleeeeeease. I don't want to work right now D:

Thankfully, his regular websites almost never include ads and spyware. He already boggles if I leave an IM program open and a contact tries to talk to me while he's writing an email. "Uh! What's this flashing orange thing below.......?"
My mom, on the other hand, learned to use the Internet and most computer stuff on her own. Right now she's obssessed with eBay bidding and getting movies from eMule. She probably knows more about illegal downloadings than I do, because I only use torrents.
