Besides, as soon as Touya gave Yue his power, she gave up on him -still resented, but she did give up- and attempted to become his and Yukito's friend. She even shared her bento with Yuki, so I'm sure they got along as soon as Touya's love/magic as a sort of trophy wasn't in the way. It was more of a little crush joint with sportsmanship, not an attempt to destroy Teh Ghey like some T/Y fans want to believe.
Besides, Yukito actually gets more hate from fandom than Nakuru.
The Kurogane icon isn't mine, but I know what you mean. If the old Kurogane had to put up with half of what he went through in the last two worlds, he'd be doing more than just punching an emo wizard's head. It shows how he grew attached to them, but I still have respect for him for being the sanest one of the main characters.
